The Free City of Gierburg - Board & Scenery

I wa sjust browsing through some of these older threads, first off awesome work on the inn Cianty, not sure if you found out yet but i think it's by a company called resin factory, another quality supplier of these types of buildings is Pardulon. On a more pushy note, when are we going to see the completed board (which is probably posted already and i haven't had the sense to find it, if so ignore the last bit of this post)

The inn was sculpted by a guy called DIMA and produced by a German company called the2legends and is now out of production. You can read that when clicking on the related blog post.

I don't really like the style of the Pardulon buildings, but I do have several pieces of them (barricades and stuff). I am using stairs from them for the Burgomeister's Mansion (Governor's Mansion from Resina Planet), which will be the next update in this thread.

He he, no, you haven't missed it. It will take a rather long time until photos of the board - because it doesn't exist yet. I have some extensive plans for the board and they will take a lot of time. But this is the place to look out for updates.

The Burgomeister's Mansion
It is finished at last! It took awhile to convert and paint the Governor's Mansion and I am happy that it is finally done. Hope you like it.

INCREDIBLE! You REALLY transformed that piece into something uniquely your own. The interior staircase is a BEAUTIFULLY done addition, the furnishing are GORGEOUS, AND I LOVE the flowering ivy. A TRUE WORK OF WONDER!

Yet again another fantastic piece, the level of detail is truly inspiring

Actually I am not sure about using it on our meeting. It's meant for Gierburg, not BTB, and doesn't fit BTB anyways.

Yeah, I thought the same already. Resina Planet called it "Mansion" and I went with that. It is of an impressive size on the board, but for a real mansion it still is too small, of course. A proper mansion would be a gaming table of its own...

The next building in this thread will be the Blacksmith's Forge by Forge World.

even if you're not using it, it will be in your appartement... which can be raided...

but if you're not intend on using it... get to building cathayan walls!

Gierburg Posters
I have been wanting to do some posters for my Gierburg scenery for a while. You already saw a little sneak peek of them in Tom's recent post about the Jesters. Now I wrote a tutorial about doing posters on my blog - check it out if you like.

Looks great.... Though maybe you should do some wear and tear on some of them . They look a little bit too unweathered. But great idea as always!!!

Nice idea to make poster. It could be funny to make another mordheim or sartossa poster to put on our building. Perhaps an idea to make a new post on the forum ?

Blacksmith's Forge

My latest and last Forge World building is the Warhammer Forge. It is really a nice piece and after all the Forge World models I can definately recommend them. As usual, check out my blog for a review and more photos.
