| Things have a tendency to change & adapt as they go along...at least with my approach to modeling. Maudeheim was initially going to be a cavern system with some above ground adventuring areas. Then the "what-if" idea of having the roof of the cavern blown away in the comet induced Apocalypse entered my semi-functional brain; ergo, until the Comet came Maudeheim was a subterranean Den of Drugs & Debauchery. Now with the roof blown off, it's become The Hole in the Ground of Drugs & Debauchery...nice to know some things never change. These are the results thus far: THE GRAND VIEW...such as it is: Fast Flo's, Ground Floor: The Second Story: The Crowning Glory: with O'Leery's Tower in the Background: Frag's Rock: Top View: Inside Thee Rock: A "the Sky is falling" Rock: Comments & critiques are MOST WELCOME...mostly.

| Thanks, Guys...feed back is always a motivating factor with moi. @Von Kurst: There will be quite a few more sizable Mushrooms infesting the place being the major source of income for the Night Goblins..."better living through chemistry." | |

| WOW, that is a very different gaming table! I like the look, but i think that you will need lots of bridges and walkways to make all that cool vertical terrain usable. It would be a shame if everyone remained at ground level . | |

| Thanks, Horatius. There will indeed be a LOT of walkways at various heights. Part of the Bar Wars style Mordheim gaming is the accumulation of notoriety points which are gained by swashbuckling combats on the higher levels of the beasty...flashy stuff gains one a reputation for bravado & a tenuous hold on reality. | |

| Sweet! I love the idea of an underworld of shacks clinging stalagmites. How big is the table? If it is smaller than 4x4 it would be cool to incorporate into a regular, raised up to proper height, mordheim table! | |

Thanks, Amigo! The table is 3'X3'...the top of the central piece, The Tower of O'Leery, is 30" above the rock floor. If it turns out, I have 3 more boards of the same size as expansion pieces. In addition Friend John has built a hexagon gaming table where the above ground action will take place. It would be cool though to have the cavern board supporting the outer world....have you noticed how these Beasties grow?

| oh lord ! this is going to get H-U-G-E ! I never get around to tackling such larger projects. Love the different levels, and I know the further you'll get, the more will be added, until one doesn't know what he sees anymore. Keep going ! | |

| Thanks, Guys! You have no idea how motivating getting some feedback can be. I'll try to progress rapidly enough to sustain some level of interest. I'm in the process of adding another two floors to Fast Flo's along with some irradiated moss. I'm planning on adding this charming little fountain somewhere...it's already mounted & primed: | |

| That is so cool, i can imagine what those giant 'shrooms are going look like painted.
I can also imagine the pain (and hilarity) of someone falling from the top of that oh so rickety structure. Low Init models are going to be in a world of pain here. Great idea Deaf.

| Thanks, qboid! The mushrooms will be bright spots...well BIG bright spots. I added the first of the walkways linking the tower to Fast Flo's, which has grown a couple of stories.; it's a little less than 18" to the oh-so-hard-and-unforgiving ground...adds a certain excitement to the Beasty, eh?! | |

| Oooh, that looks pretty great Nala! These weird, rickety structures are so very expressionist and Tim Burtony you just gotta love them. Very well done! And the "fountain" sure is a must-add. I really must get going with my BTB-terrain projects, so, thanks for renewed inspiration! | |

| Love it! This board is truly inspired and it looks like a heap of fun to boot. Verticality and strong theme are two of my favourite things in terrain and you have them in spades here. | |

| Thanks, tomogui! Tall, rickety looking buildings are most definitely my thing. Fast Flo's is now as tall as the Tower of O'Leery & is connected by the first of the precarious walkways. Once I get it primed I'll try to get up some more photos. | |
