| Thundering down the narrow alleys of Maudeheim, The Blessed Order of the Gooey Death leaves a trail of destruction & now two dimensional War Bands in their wake. "Good, Bad, Whatever...the Gooey Ones don't make mischief. Iter Mortis!" The Brotherhood: ...Pistoliers: ...the Knights Templar: ...the "Careful wear you step" Infantry: ...Fearless Leader & Halbardier: ...Doppel Dwarfs: ...Halbardiers: ...Engineer & Thunderer ...Beardlings, Bosco & Babe: ...The Morale Officer & Staff: The entire order is composed of White Knights FANTASTIC Renaissance Dwarfs & Halfings with a coupe of Musical Wart Hogs thrown in for balance, which Himself MOST GENEROUSLY donated to the cause. As always, your kind comments would be most welcome...mostly.

| I am disappointed that this lot is mostly dwarfs. Hate dwarfs almost as much as elfs. Some nice halflings would be a welcome sight... Great lot of minis nonetheless. The stunty cavalry is priceless. I have loved watching White Knight's threads. At the rate the undead are killing my lads, I could use a few of his new halfling zombies too. | |

| They turned out nice so far, let's see how they look with a little colour. I like the WK range a lot and am excited to see some of the minis on a forum (though I'd love to see the halfling zombies) Is the dwarf-griffon going to join the frey sooner or later? | |

Great lot of minis nonetheless. The stunty cavalry is priceless. I have loved watching White Knight's threads. At the rate the undead are killing my lads, I could use a few of his new halfling zombies too. Thanks, Jim! I think the Dwarfs & Elves are suffering from G.W's polarizing, moronic background fluff. Dwarfs are such perfect foils for my Goblins. AND the Goblins should be totally separate from the Orcs. I can accommodate you with the the Halflings. I have a good sized War Band of the Little Gluttons based & ready for some brushwork. I'll try to get some photos up later today. Looking at the qc's Road Warden's, I suddenly pictured the W.K. Dwarf Cavalry as Alley Wardens. With the narrow streets of my Blight Boards, a stirrup to stirrup charge would result in a lot of road kill; hence the Order of the Gooey Death. - Grimscull wrote:

Thanks, Grimscull! Reducing the Vault of Pack Rattiness with brush or via sales/gifts is one of my goals for the year/foreseeable future. We'll see how long the energy lasts. The WK minis are even better in hand than you would imagine from the photos, I did add a little extra gear to the Lads, but the expressive faces & costumery are OUTSTANDING. WK included one of the Zombie Halflings in the Care Package, I'll see if I can base him up later today. The Griffon will be something to consider if I can figure out a way of actually buying stuff from WK. The swashbuckling Elves are tempting also; they're rather rather reminiscent of the Grenadier/Mirliton Elves.

| Thanks, Ben. The Vertically Challenged ones will hopefully be a colorful collection of Merry Rogues. They're not quite as cool as Goblins, but then what is? | |

| The Zombie was done with you in mind; he is one of the nicest of the WK pieces. I'll try not to keep you waiting long; I'm rather excited about seeing them all in full color myself. I figure going back & forth from the minis to the terrain will fill in the odd moments wasted while things dry. | |

Thanks for the replies here & on the Death Squad Forum, Devilish. It does rather fit with the margin illustrations from the rules book. It appeals to my sense of the absurd...probably why I bought it.

Now that you mention it. The Pig would be more suited & much happier in Mordheim than any horse could ever be.

| They are different, strange, & almost surrealistic at times; that's what I like about them...come to think of it that's what I like about Mordheim also. The Lead Adventure Steam Punk minis are even weirder. | |

| I could have sworn those dwarves were old citadel miniatures. Beautiful sculpts. Your collection (I heard rumours that you have mountains of lead...) is excellent. I have some TheBattleForge halflings I could send you if you want, they should fit right in with your stuff. | |

| Those White Knight halfling zombies are excellent. It's a pity WK doesn't go further with halfling ghouls, necromancers etc. That would be a blast! | |

Thanks for the offer, Alex; maybe we could work out a trade. White Knight's pieces are inspired by the Marauder Dwarfs that the Morrisons put out way back when. He has quite a variety of them along with Goblins, Halflings, & Elves plus some character pieces...all GREAT STUFF![b] http://whiteknightminiatureimperium.blogspot.com/ - Paboook wrote:

That would be cool! I think his primary focus is on the Dwarfs; the others are rather side show pieces.

Thanks, Jim...I'm glad you like him. I haven't come up to full speed yet, but I do seem to have come out of the down times. For quite awhile I was averaging out at around a thousand minis a year. While I don't think I get back to that level, I have quite a backlog of minis here, AND there are still some I'd like to get. While the focused mood lasts I'd like to finish as many minis & as much terrain as I can. Most of it I'd like to find homes for.
