Number Three is waiting for his Mushroom's Green Stuff to dry for the white on black treatment: ...meanwhile Number Four buzzing a freshly made Mushroom: ...The Mushroom: Periodically I do a G.W. Gnoblar & Night Goblin mix for a particularly weeedy Goblin, one destined for a life of menial labor: ...these unfortunates usually get names like Beastly Burden. | So much creepiness! You are moving right along. I am envious of your pace.
I looked at some projects this morning. Confirming that they haven't advanced from last week or last year is important to me.

| Thanks, Jim. If you had as much time to devote to the craft as I do, those projects would be done along with ones you've only imagined. | |

| ... I'm as restless as a willow in a windstorm; I'm as jumpy as a puppeton a string. I'd say that I had Spring Fever but I finished fleshing out the Faerie Goblins AND finished one. These are the ones fleshed out: ] ...the finished Faerie Fellow: ...with a closeup of the Fly Boy: ... AND Mushroom: ... PLUS a Group Photo: ...or two: ...now back to staring into space. | |

| The siren call of The Green Stuff...it's taken over from The Wild...had me knock out three new Mushrooms: ...now while they cure, I'll get back to the serious business of painting Faerie Goblins. | |

| Lovely fellows, especially the one in the middle. I like your Robespierre, too. What do you use these flying faery-goblins for? | |

| Thanks for the kind reply, Grimscull. I am delighted you like them. I haven't quite worked out how I'm going to treat the Fly Boys. I figured they could be a "count as" for some fast moving types, but what is still a question. Suggestions on this would be welcome; I don't get to play so working within the rules can be problematic for me. | |

Thanks for the reply, Grimscull. I am happy you are enjoying the stuff. I actually blame my preference for bright colors on all the colorful historical miniatures I did when I first started gaming; I'm sure I've said this before, but Old Men have a habit of repeating themselves...it's a tradition thing. I think I am so fond of your approach because it is different than my own. - Codsticker wrote:

Thanks, Codsticker...glad you like them. The reeds are sisal rope (from Michael's) that I unwind & glue in clumps. It is a nice easy effect to achieve; AND a good way to hide the supporting wire.
