I firguured today would be devoted to sighing & staring into space...two favorite seasonal activities. Then I found I had finished Faerie Fellow #3, Smiling Jack Splat or that's what I call him for now:








AND the entire Flying Circus, finished & in the works:

I like the bright colours you have chosen- not what we usually associate with Mordheim.

I finished the last of the Fly Boys last night & took a bunch of photos earlier today. I'll post them up in awhile.

The stuff was so cool I had to give it a try. They are similar to one of my type, but with added arms & feet. I have one in progress & one just about all sculpted:




I also converted & base coated a new Evil Faerie Sorceress, formerly a West Wind's Dwarf Wars Good Wizard:

Yesterday I added a lantern to the Mushroom with the open hand & made three matching normal-but-large mushrooms.




AND I converted a West Wind Wizard to another Flying Fellow:

For those interested in size/scale, these West Wind miniatures are tall; 43 mm from head to toe.

The flyers look decidedly more malevolent than your faeries.

They do look more sinister. The Sorceress in particular, with her slanted eyes & minimal nose, has an alien look to her that fits with the fey faeries, but has a malicious quality to it.

West Wind has a number of wonderful minis. Looking forward to seeing them painted, probably like Sunday

Yesterday I started working on the Bog style, ambulatory Mushrooms again. I figured the Wizard needed some Muscle to back him up, & a Flunky for the drudge/beast of burden work:




He also needed a more wizardly looking cap:


...the Flunky looks suitably impressed.

This morning I finished the green stuffing on the first of The Muscle:


AND I have The Flunky figured out & underway:


...more progress reports later..or not.

The Lads are all based, base coated, & ready for some paint. The G.W. Peasant, Leo Sizechek, is there for size comparison; he's 32 mm to the top of his terrified head.

The mushroomen come along nicely. What are they for, or, what do you want to play those as? Or just for the modelling and painting fun?
