| Your board is starting to look mighty fine! I really like the extreme verticality of those two buildings. The idea of a subterranean Mordheim is also very cool and offers loads of modelling options and not to forget a lot of fun gaming!
I'll be checking back here!

| Thanks, Boreas...I'm glad you're enjoying the Beasty. I just got a shot of motivation/inspiration myself. The National Geographic had an article on the caves of Viet Nam. One, Hang Son Doong, is over 2 1/2 miles long with areas large enough to accommodate several blocks of 40 story buildings. It has two areas of collapsed ceilings, one of which sports a subterranean forest growing out of a, 850' mound of debris with some tress reaching 100' in height. Can't you just picture that in miniature...I NEED to build it all! | |

I've recently read that taping masking tape (the kind of papery tape used by painters, I think it is called masking tape but am not sure) over the flash helps! I tried it earlier today, the result of which you can see in my building blog, and find that two layers yield best result. but I can imagine that a lot depens upon other lighting conditions etc. I will soon try this on my miniatures. and risking to sound like a total copy cat: Keep up the fine work to!

I'll accept your challenge but I do not have very high hopes of finishing first I have a duplicate thread posted over on the Death Squad Forum, AND I got the same "lack of color" observation form one of the D.S.Guys. That's why I got a chuckle out of your comment...I'm easily amused; most idiots are. ACTUALLY I figured I'd have second place in our two man race locked up...the competition might be motivating anyway.

| Speeding along with the urgency of a glacier, I've taken some TRULY HORRID photos of the minimal progress made: The Big Picture: For all you Fungus Fans, a shot of the local Victory Garden now in living color...such as it is: A view from the heights: I have the staff of Fast Flo's Fun House nearly complete with a soon to be fully operational bar... SO there are more enlightening photos lomminng ominously on the horizon. Comments & critiques are, as always, MOST WELCOME...mostly. | |

| Thanks, Guys...glad you like it so far. The photos make picking out the three individual buildings a bit difficult. On the Mushrooms: in its primer coated state it's hard to tell, but the central tower building is actually a HUGE Mushroom. Here's a photo before I redid it: Pretty , eh?! | |

| Surreal madness. That is what I think of when I see this. It is hard to imagine that this is actually a real three dimensional piece, rather than a painting. Looks awesome!
Also, could you post some better pics of your goblins, they look interesting

Also, could you post some better pics of your goblins, they look interesting Thanks, Harry. I was going for a surreal image...I guess I got it right. I'll put up some photos of the Night Goblins, their Above-Ground Confederates, & the Staff of Fast Flo's with the next batch of photos...hopefully. I've reverted to my old skin colors for the "new" Goblins; i.e., the Night Variety are a pale sand color & the Land-Roving Sort are a burnt orange. As a fore-taste, you can check out some of the Green Guys here: https://boringmordheimforum.forumieren.com/t4247-the-now-completed-red-brotherhood-gallery - Von Kurst wrote:

js Those are two of my Goblin Smuggler Fleet. The one on the port side is the Fast Flo...named after the welcoming house of (in)fame. She was a steam powered ram. The boarding plank, when dropped, opened the holding pen for the ship's (ravenous) Squigs...the remaining boarding party would follow once the screams had died down. She's now moored in N. Carolina at Drugart's port of call. The starboard one is the Nasty Nancy...she has two Dwarven Cannon mounted in the eyes for the chase. The old girl got a bit beat up in the move to Texas & is currently in dry dock awaiting repairs. Three others were left with Monkey Head Mac on Long Island. A sixth one, the Saucy Susan, is still a W.I.P. piece.

| Thanks for the kind comments, Guys! I always find the commentaries to my posts to be a motivating factor...you may regret making them. I was surprised how well the Camera of Continuous Contrariness did with the mini photos... SO I'll try to get up some pics of the staff at Fast Flo's & some of the other characters/miscreants wandering the place. | |

It 's a kind od Alice in Wunderland mixed with the style of the movie dark city or Momo.
Like a real weird dream only in a solid form.
I really love your scenery.
