What an epic first game!

Burbag, a Black Orc hero, was killed by Chaos Dwarfs amid the ruins of Bel Alaid in Araby. Burbag was the champion of Bruudish Backbreaka's Backbreakas. He had served as interim leader during Bruudish's unfortunate illness. In that capacity he had taken the Skaven ship Kappa Eta II as a prize and duffed up many a humie, stunty and rat. He is irreplaceable. (Mainly because the Backbreakas is broke.)

Bombur, an orc runt of no account, distinguished himself by getting rubbed out by rats, must of been the stunty name. His death leaves the Backbreakas short handed at an akward time.

Chadwicc pulls well ahead with four heroes killed by the halfway point of the campaign.

Skreesnick, black skaven, died to Chris' magic weapon weilding lady Rais.
But again, at least I looted him, too.

Playtable makes a late game bid to tie the Dead Heroes Competition.

Zap-a-snot, shaman of the purple jaw clan. After traversing the warp due to a freak accident, with a shokk attack gun, him and his fellow space orks, found new hope pillageing and raiding this world. He was shot in the knee by a dark elf, who captured him after the battle beat him into a madness, and took out his only good eye then sent him to the pits to die.

Bad times for the Greens.

Shysta was a talented Shoota Boy with Bruudish's Backbreakas. Despite his talent he never got a better weapon than his old trusty bow. Some said he was shiftless, some said he was the salt o' the earth. Some Big Hat dwarf did for him all the same.

The death of Shysta put Chadwicc comfortably in the lead. Once again he secured the most dead heroes of a campaign by edging out playtable 5 to 4.

[Their score in the last Toth Amon campaign was playtable 12, Chadwicc 13. They've mellowed in the last couple of years.]

Johann Roth: Marksman extraordinaire and chief scout of the Fortune Hunters. Met his untimely end from a Dark Elf Bolt in an epic battle. Bane to many a powerful adversary, his steady aim brought down many a foul thing. His tales around the campfires will be missed. His keen eye and covering fire from his crossbow will be missed more.

They're dropping like flies in the Karibbean:
Chimalma, the shield bearer. was killed during a skirmish with warm-blood pirates in the town of Torktuga.

Elise, a youngblood from Marienburg, was killed in Old Port Sigmar by Sartosan Pirates.

Lykopis, a Totem Warrior of the Pale Moon Tribe, was gravely wounded in her first skirmish against the invaders. Her days as a warrior are over. Now she makes arrows by the fire.

War is hell on women and skinks.

Skegg da Oddboy, was shot in the face by a Halfling Cook with a shortbow.

Krugg da Deadbasha, was squished by a troll.

Rodrik von Alden, former captain commanding of the Men of Averheim, totting at nearly 200gc of dwarf bashing badass, he spent a good 3 turns scaling a building, only to survey at the top that he was hopelessly out of place and his fellow men were being slaughtered below. In flash of heroic genius he leapt from the roof onto the roof a a nearby tavern, wheres he jumped down a hole in the roof with duelling pistols blazing, landing, he drew his sword and leapt into the melee to turn the tide and win the day...

...Except that the tavern was over 6" away...

needless to say, his fleeing companions never bothered to stop to collect his corpse, they probably didn't recognise it, it was quite a fall...

Sounds like Poor Rodrik made quite an impression.

Voltz, a talented Reiklander Marksman was killed and eaten by a Giant Frog.

Rin, a Marienburger Hero of unknown rank, was possibly killed by a Giant Frog, but may have been cut in pieces by a Cathayan katana. So many ways to go, so little time.

Telles I, Amazon Totem Warrior. was killed by a Cold One near the Bridge of Doom. Telles II was recruited shortly thereafter.

Yaotl, the Guardian's Saurus Totem Warrior was killed by Father Ezekiel's Hammer of Sigmar on the Bridge of Doooom.

XiuhpilliThe Guardian's leader, was killed by a Hunting Arrow on the cliffs above the Snake River.

The Guardians have an early and uncomfortable lead in the Dead Heroes competition this campaign.

Boyos Purple Jaw, leader of the Purple Jaw clan. a strong orc commander, sadly his demise was his fighting spirt. He was so determined to get a victory for his boys he moved to goblin magic, and ate a mad cap mushroom. Died to the hands of 3 rikelanders, including an expert swordsman.

Chac,a talented saurus brave, was shot with arrows, then stabbed to death as he sought to crawl toward his tormentors. He took 3 of the warm-bloods down before they overwhelmed him. Oh Tzunki, when will thy children have bled enough?

The Guardians of the Silent Places have lost 4 heroes in 3 weeks of play...

An unnamed Wastelander hero died on Rigg's altar. The Pale Moons claim their first male victim.

Telles II, a Totem Warrior of the Pale Moon tribe, provided a meal for a Sabre Tooth.

Zang, a Cathayan Litter Bearer, was fired in disgrace. His offence is unkown which is probably just as well.

Nelli, a talented Skink Brave, was killed by Reiklanders in a skirmish north of the Lost City.

The Guardians maintain a comfortable lead over the Amazons, 5 to 3.

Kydomie. a talented Amazon warrior is killed by Wastelander Privateers in Torktuga.

Heimer Kholb, a Reiklander young blood, was killed down on Port Sigmar's docks in a disagreement over ownership of cargo with the Sirens from Marienburg and some Nordlander smugglers.

The body of a Marienburger heroine was recovered nearby. Identification is pending.

Brother Gottlieb, another Sigmarite Warrior Priest from Reikland was killed by the Protectorate of Sigmar in the Temple of Doom II. No word on the sequel...

Zing The Merciless was shown no mercy. He was purged from the ranks of the Cathayan Pirates for reactionary behavior.

Thogg the Faithless, a traitorous saurus who joined the Cathayans at the point of a sword, met his end fighting Sartosan pirates for the treasures of the City of Ghosts.

Malakai the Master Gunner was slain by an evil undead ogre.

Jochi the Dirk was a Reiklander youngblood. He was murdered by Cathayans in the Temple of Doom.

Crow, a Sartosan ship's mate, was killed by Cathayans in the Lost City of Tlax during a failed ambush.

Drawt, a Sartosan LTGT Crewman was kiled fighting the Protectorate for buried treasure in the City of Ghosts.

Brienne Black Hood, a Templar of Sigmar was sacrificed to Tzunki by Lizardmen.

Death stalks the northern Empire.

Izzy Gnatz, da Boss of da Gnatz Bangz, was ripped apart by zombies in da Spooky Woodz.

Fizz Ga Bangz, da Shaman of da Gantz Bangz met more murderous zombies just a few spear lengths away.

Da Gnatz Bangz give it up as a bad job.

Alfred Hitchcork , late member of the Righteous Brothers, was killed by the skeleton of an ancient warrior as he struggled to cleanse the Ancient Battlefield.

Dronzo "Sauce" Furryfoot, famous chef of the Furryfoote Clan, was murdered by one of the Possessed. The crime took place at midnight in the shadow of the Mausoleum...

Big 'Un Kuffa lost his head scrappin' with the Dead Uns from Lahmia.

Wilde Oscar, Witch Hunter, killed by a Night Goblin firing squad.

Baz Ingaz, orc shaman, murdered by the Beast, a Champion of Nurgle.

Alfred Hitchcork II, a famous Witch Hunter and pamphleteer, was killed in doctrinal dispute wiith the Protectorate of Sigmar.

GrrrrUp, a talented Village Ogre and the hopes and dreams of the Furryfoote Clan, was killed by a pack of Black Hounds of Lahmia, a Necromancer and the Beloved. The Furryfoote's vow revenge.

Curly Halftoe, the former chief of scouts for the Furryfoote Clan was foolishly let go to bring in the hulking GrrrrUp. Curly was only T2 but he bounced back from injury...

Getting a bit busy for the undertakers of the Empire:

Captain Aewen aus Middenheim was killed by a Champion of Chaos during the Battle for the Farm.

Bacia the Thrall, a servant of the Ancient One of Lahmia, was destroyed during a hunt for treasure. A Champion of Chaos is suspected in the death.

"Red" McDougle of the Righteous Brothers was killed in a tragic hunting accident. The Skaven claimed he looked just like a wolf.

Ceran, a Champion of Ulric, was killed in the Wilds by Lahmian cultists. The proud warrior now shambles as a zombie.

Wazz, a Big Un in da Mob au Dux, was killed by Night Goblins. Da shame.

Estimal Furryfoote, aka New Cook, was murdered by Rat Devils in the Great Forest. The Furryfoote Company has pulled even with the Righteous Brothers in Heroes Killed.

Harmothoe; Amazon Warrior met her end and the hands of a Norse Marauder as she dove in front of Ephesos (Priestess) taking an axe blade in the face.
