Hey ho boys and girls, this is my first post here and I want to do the whole "getting to know you" shenanigans...but nobody wants to sit and read paragraph after paragraph of somebodies life story, so instead thought I would drop a bunch of random info about myself and what I'm all about and let people respond/question/comment on whatever they find interesting...like some kind of bizzare forum speed dating 0.o ok!
- I'm Scottish born and bred, currently residing in Dundee (similar to Mordheim in that everybody carries knifes)
- I am a digital artist and game/level designer by trade (I am also currently in the process of starting up my very own business producing 28-30mm miniatures on the side...because I am clearly insane)
- I have played pretty much every games workshop specialist game to death over the course of my life but my favourite has always been Mordheim (with Inquisitor being a close second...and then maybes Necromunda). I used to write/run campaigns back in the day before I moved away to university 6 years ago, but since then I have had no luck finding any locals who play the game.
- I have recently had my love of the game re-kindled by talking about it extensively with a close friend who had never played it before, and since then I have made it my task to give him the full Mordheim experience!
- As a result I am currently building a mordheim table and a bunch of different warbands to get the ball rolling. (I will ofc be throwing up posts on the various terrain construction/warband development/battle reports etc when I get the chance)
I'll call an end to this "getting to know ya session" here and let everybody return to normal service, but keep an eye out as I will no doubt be bouncing around the boards like a squig without a herder, looking forward to getting in contact with everybody...(although unfortunately it will count as a charge)...ciáo!
