| A small update from Stirland... A wip shot of my unit Reiksguard/Swordsmen. I was planning on painting them today, but then this came up... My finished Helstorm Rocket... With the new Skaven Hell Pit Abomination for scale... As you can see, the rocket is huge! A pic with all the crew in place. These models aren't glued to the base yet. I planned on building a blast shield and a observation tower but ultimately decided against it because the rocket itself should be the focal point of the model (and I lacked suficient room on the base)... And two pictures of the crew... The third crewmember is from the previous Giant kit and can be seen cowering in one of the pictures above:rolleyes: I made a larger base for the model (two Chariot bases put together) and covered the whole thing in plastic tiles (that's a lot of cutting, I can assure you). The table is from Fenryll and the pile of parchment/maps is from Thomarillion. Thanks for watching! As always, your feedback is greatly appreciated, so please let me know what you think... | |

| Great work on your rocket.
If reminds me of the rocket of a comic named "Tim und Struppi"
Maybe both rockets have the same pattetn
Please paint it, it will be huge!

| Thanks! Anyway, here are some quick pics of the almost finished Rocket... I had no time to finish the crew, but you should get a pretty good idea of where I'm going with this. The base... The Rocket... Mostly finished, only the bottom half needs some attention. The little shields on the Griffon still need detailing (green and white) and the lower end of the Rocket needs a wash of Devlan Mud. The Rocket on it's base... The table isn't finished yet, the maps and parchment needs a little detailing... Thanks for watching! As always, your feedback is greatly appreciated, so please let me know what you think... | |

| Oh wow! I hadn't realised how big the rocket was. It looks great. I love the skull launch pad Your basing technique is so cool. Quite jealous, I like the ironic uniformity on Mordheimers. | |

| I usually like to give a more constructive feedback but I can just say Great Stuff! Excellent idea, superb way of bringing that idea to life, nice paintjob and just the right choice for the crew. Love it! | |

| Well, it's finished! The finished Rocket with a similar marker in front of it. The whole project was quite an adventure. From simple marker to cool scratch-built conversion... The Rocket isn't attached to the base to make transportation easier. The finished base without the rocket... And some close-ups of the crew... I can't wait to use this in battle... Thanks for watching! As always, your feedback is greatly appreciated, so please let me know what you think... | |

| The whole army as it stands now... Excluding Charachters the army is well over 2500 points... A picture of my Giant and my Rocket... The Giant is big, but the Rocket is bigger! My unit Swordsmen... Still very much wip... Two pics of a few finished Swordsmen... Front and back. Painting of these models is quite fast, so I hope to finish them soon. And a few new models... Courtesy of Ebay! These models need cleaning, but I already have a use for the classic Steamtank Commander, he'll be in charge of my new Steamtank! The musician will find a place in one of my units of Handgunners... Thanks for watching! As always, your feedback is greatly appreciated, so please let me know what you think... | |

| Ahh, the famous steamtank commander, great model! Bought him last year to make a nice statue of him, i mean, his pose demands this! Your army is a fantastic piece of conversion and painting, why dont take a foto of the whole bunch, floedebolle _________________ Lord Flasheart: And always remember - if you want something, take it! | Thanks for the feedback! Small update... The Captain that will be leading/joining the Swordsmen unit... And the Reiksguard that I got from Saul Tarvitz... He was actually the first that got painted, but I still had to finish his shield. Take the credit, Chriss:) Thanks for watching! | The Rocket turned out great, absolutely love what you did with it. The Reiksguard are coming along nicely, the captain/duelist really is a nice mini - might have to order both duelists as well, lovely mini's! Keep it up. | |

Keep it up. Thanks! The duelists are indeed very nice models! It's good to see that the modern mini's mix so well with the classic models. The Rocket was a very fun project! And now a little update! Some of the finished models... I've painted both the standard and the unit champion of my Swordsmen. I also painted one of the veteran members of the unit. I used a few classic champions as Swordsmen to give the unit a distinct elite character, this affect the uniformity of the unit slightly, but it's a price I'm willing to pay:D The banner was modified slightly... I just couldn't get the housglass right so I cut it of and replaced it by a shield. Thanks for watching! As always, your feedback is greatly appreciated, so please let me know what you think...

| And now it's time for an update... Two shots of the FINISHED Swordsmen (well, almost, they still need to be magnetised and their bases need tidying)... The unit filler... And some of the individual models... The pictures are a bit too gritty for my tastes, the greens and reds are actually quite vibrant and not that dark. The unit looks very well with the already painted Spearmen even though they are completely different models... Swordsmen are supposed to be dashing (at least according to the Empire army book) and these guys really look the part... Even more so than the regular plastic models. Can you spot the seven differences? Thanks for watching! As always, your feedback is greatly appreciated, so please let me know what you think... | |
