| Thanks, Lion01...glad you like the stuff! The big arched front door on O'Leery's is a Rackham/Confrontation piece. All the others are home grown; they're a mix of insulation foam with styrene plastic hinges, jewelry pieces, & balsa wood braces. While we're at it, I found a new species of Mutant Mushrooms lurking in the dark recesses of my work bench from Hell!: | |

| Wonderful job. You can really see Spring coming in full force and all those mushrooms growing. The most amazing bit is the towering buildings, though. You've proven that it's possible to create such impressive foundations. Now, I must try that for myself! Joao | |

Joao The mention of Spring conjured up an image of the Mushroom on the right belching out a cloud of feathers...so much for the first harbinger of Spring. I'm a big fan of TALL Buildings & daring duels at dizzying heights above the unforgiving rocks/pavement below...I give escalating points for aerial combat. On a practical note, tall buildings give a greater gaming area without increasing the foot print of the board...or will once the walkways are in place. - Von Kurst wrote:

I found that not being able to get on the Internet & interact on the Forums was incredibly stressful/depressing...kind of like drug withdrawal. The grin on the left hand(tentacle) Mushroom reminds me of Phil Silvers.

| Although this certain style of yours really isn´t my cup of tea I really love to see what your somewhat warped mind does next!
All i can think of when i see it is Alice in Wonderland on drugs or some twisted sibling to Avatars wildlife.. (not in a bad way that is!)
So keep those colorful and creative ideas of yours flowing!

| Thanks, Soulblight! Since I frequently have Grace Slick wailing out White Rabbit going through my head when I'm working on this stuff, the Alice on drugs thing is an astute observation. | |

| You know, all these mushrooms would be an absolute treasure trove for a goblin shaman. It'd be cool to see one directing "volunteers" to go collect, and things going horribly and suitably wrong! | |

| All hail to the fantastic shrooms of great Shroommaster Deafnala, Hail indeed! They look fantastic, also a different look compared to the " classic" ones , and the best thing is, the two of them remind me about the " day of the tentacle", and believe me , that brings back fantastic memorys. Oh, and again: Hail shroomies! _________________ Lord Flasheart: And always remember - if you want something, take it! Bobby! Bob Parkhurst: [enters] My lord? Lord Flasheart: I want something. | Thanks, floedebolle! I'm glad you like the Fungus Fellows & took the time to say so! I based up the two new Guys today; AND have the Malignant Seven plus a couple getting the basing treatment. There should be some individual photos & a Group Portrait in a few days...or not. | |

| Now that the more active Mushroom Lads are all based up, they demanded new photos...really. SO here they are wandering around Town...& Country. The Twisted Two in Maudeheim: AND The Malignant Seven: AND some shenanigans at Heep's Place: Comments & critiques are as always most welcome...mostly. | |

| Thanks for the kind comments, Guys! It seems that my creations, such as they are, are silly & disturbing in equal measure. It might be due to their surrealism...or all those teeth. These are a variety of the infamous Clarabella Carnivorus. | |

| Nice, very nice indeed.
Disturbingly creepy, what with their big, bulgy eyes, but still cute as whiskers on kittens
Do you have any rules for these guys? Or do you do a 'counts as'?
It'd be a big shame if you didn't use them in some kind of game...

| Thanks, Quase! The Mushrooms look to moi like something out of a Tim Burton cartoon; i.e., a combination of cute, creepy, & bizarre. I'm still hoping to do some gaming, but as of yet I haven't given much thought to specific rules for the Mushrooms. Got any ideas? | |
