| Thanks for the kind comments & the Rules idea, V.K.. I agree that the Mushrooms look better based up; AND they go well with the setting. I can see them moving from way over there to standing next to you without appearing to go through the intervening space...insert some B Movie mood music here. | |

| Compo Heeps's Bat Poop Farm, Mushroom Distillery, & (In)Famously Popular Drinking Establishment is, aside from the never ending embellishments, FINISHED! In keeping with this MOMENTOUS EVENT, The Illustrious Entrepreneur, Compo Heep, conduct a Personal Tour...keeping up wind is advisable: From a distance: The Doorman: Ascending the entry stairs(ladder): To the Main Entrance: A Variety of Mushroom (idea "borrowed" from Fanticide): The Upper Level: And Roof: In the Caves: By the Bat Cave of Endless Soil Enrichment: As always your kind commentary is requested. | |

| Thanks, V.K.! I am delighted you like it. The next boards are The Spooky Woods proper & a long-neglected-but-surpisingly-active Graveyard replete with Wizard's Digs while Maudeheim slowly evolves. I know what you mean about L.A.F. The Folks over there are GREAT GUYS & GALS, but the set up for photos sucks...particularly for battle reports & comics with built in text. | |

| Holy Guano, this is ONE awesome piece of creativity, i love it! Well, if i was compo heep, i´d be very pleased withe the results, well, if you look at him one really can see how thankfull he is. The best on this piece, even if there´s no close up of´em , are the lovely trees, man , those are the best i´ve seen so far mr. nala, so please, send close ups of them! And the new shrooms with boils on are looking good, but nothing compared to those next to. Mega THUMBS UP! _________________ Lord Flasheart: And always remember - if you want something, take it! | Thanks, floedebolle; I somehow knew this might appeal to you. I'll try to take some close ups of the trees. | |

| There's so much in it!! Wonderful creations and beautifully executed paintjobs. Also, the camera work is superb- I like the way all the photos tell a story in that unique setting!

Joao I'd love to take the credit, but those of my photos that turn out well are more a matter of dumb luck than skill. Be that as it may, I'm delighted that you like the photos...I'm rather pleased with this batch also. - Spectre76 wrote:

The Little Fellow is a Beaumont Miniature from Armorcast. They call him Dungsley Pohhbury, Dwarf Dong Farmer...I like my name better. That aside, here's a link: http://armorcast.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=116_73&products_id=342

| I really like all of your hand done signs, they add so much flavor, and also look really well done, for such small scale. | |

Thanks, theomar! Long ago I did calligraphy as a part time job; while I never really could do the really fancy stuff, I can still paint a reasonably good script.

| Wow!
The Compo Heeps's Bat Poop Farm, Mushroom Distillery, & (In)Famously Popular Drinking Establishment is very, very nice!
From the details on the door-hinges over the faces in the rocks (beware! beware!!! if you know Labyrinth), passing by the signs to Compo Heep himself.
Impressive composition indeed!

| Thanks, Quase...glad you enjoyed the tour! To a large degree Labyrinth has been the inspiration behind The Project...among others. | |

| Wowsy, believe me , we, MoMmy and me, would love to visit compo and his creator, but before we have not taken our families on vacation, there´s no water crossing in for us, but stay tuned, one day two sausage-loving dudes with coleslaw hanging out of there mouths could be knockiing on your door, backpacks full of minis that cant wait to get ther leady feet on compo heeps territory! _________________ Lord Flasheart: And always remember - if you want something, take it! | Thanks for the kind reply, qazbnm! There is something not quite right about my stuff that most Folks find disturbing. It might be the surrealistic feel of the place; or it might be the place is a reflection of it's creator... Crazy Old Men can be disturbing also. The song that most often runs through my mind as I'm working on The Project is White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane. | |

| It's been awhile & I've made some progress on the Spooky Woods board adjoining Heep's Place. SO here's how things are coming along: The Overview with Heep's Place to the left: A Vultures eye view: As always, your kind comments & critiques are welcome...kind of. | |

| Thanks, Spectre...glad you like it & took the time to say so! I've been gluing down the trees, adding tortured looking roots, & doing the sand. I should hopefully have the back hill all primed up by this evening & the rest of the board primed by tomorrow evening. THEN the painting & detailing begins... OH BABY!* *The Astute Reader will observe a certain tendency to become overly enthusiastic over the smallest of progress. | |
