Those colors are intense! I just watched my grand-nieces' dance recital on Saturday, those little ballerinas would have fit right in.

The Ballerinas are from Tom Meier's Thunderbolt Mountain Range; AND they are teeny. The Little Wenches are also armed with some nasty squirt guns from HELL!. They'll be chasing some hapless Goblin...also a T.M. mini.

Those little critters fit right in!  Although the two with the odd grey horns fit a little too well.  The colors of the horns blends into the trunks of the trees to my eyes.

The grey horns are actually their bat-like wings. You got their color perfect though; it's just about the same as I use for the trees.

Hmmm, so perfect I didn't even notice that they all 3 have 'wings'.  Maybe a change?  Up to you of course. That purple might work...

Funny you should mention it. I just did a Bittersweet Chocolate & Black wash over the wings, which gives them the nice black effect that I originally intended for them. If I have occasion to snap photos of them again, you show be able to notice the difference immediately.

A couple of years ago I was getting set to add some more Goblins to the Hordes I had already done when the thought came to moi: "why am I painting these cool minis in that God-Awful, stupid green?". That pretty much ended the Green Phase.  

Is chicken girl an old GW harpy?

Thanks for more photos of the travelers. I got two more adobes painted yesterday, today not so much. I made a ladder and discovered I was out of Make it Stone spray. Somedays chicken, somedays feathers.  

I'm not sure who is responsible for Chicken Girl...COOL mini though & aggro did a GREAT paint job.
I can relate with the on & off days. Yesterday I painted up a Foxy Faerie; today I wrestled unsuccessfully with The Camera trying to get some decent photos...c'est la vie, eh?!

Tell me about it... for some reason I fail to understand, my PC won't 'read' my digicam anymore.
And when I take out the SD card and insert that one into my PC, the only thing that happens is the PC telling me I need to re-format it. Which is not going to happen... don't want to loose the pictures.

Lurrrve the green(sorry, couldn't resist)skins and the sisterhood, fantasy-esque as they are, still scream Barbarella to me.

Though I just got to ask because I'm a curious-kind-of-guy, those things on chicken-chick's base, are they supposed to be eggs, or are they that kind of mushroom that looks like an egg (called devils' eggs in dutch) and go 'pop' when you step on them?

I see you use statig grass, but there's also grass that comes higher, and which seems more rigid and solid than static grass... where'd you get that? Brand-name by any chance?

I'm sorry to hear about your camera. I had a problem loading twice: once required a reload of the camera program disc thingy, & the other time was due to Java being disabled (on Firefox). At any rate, I hope you resolve the problem soon...I always enjoy your updates.

Now that you mention it the Babes do look like Barbarella extras...or Flesh Gordeen (a soft porn spoof of Fash Gordon).   

As you may have guessed, I really enjoy doing bases. The stand up static grasses/grass tufts are Silfor from Mini Natur . I also use the grass tufts from Army Painter &, for larges areas, Heki's Wildgras. Over on this side of the Pond they're avaible from Scenic Express...the Silflor are here:

Two new Denizens of the Spooky Woods have shown up...they'll be photographed in the Woods once their associates are painted.
 The first is a West Wind's Goblin (he's about the size of a G.W. Orc). My amigo Mason's Lunatic was the inspiration to the piece...
