| The imminent Bidding War may very well be e-Bay's answer to Super Bowl Sunday. | |

| It's Europe so who cares for the Super Bowl? Now... wish me luck, Al. I'll need it. Although I think I'll need more than that... | |

| As one of my main Amigos I'm rooting for you...I get special dispensation since The Man takes care of Fools, Drunks, & Little Children. By the way, even as an American, I don't give a rat's petootie about the Super Bowl, but Super Bowl Sunday Parties can be quite spectacular. | |

I like the mini enough to go to £120 perhaps £140 but beyond that i would have to take a reality check. I'm happy with the mutant so good luck to whoever wins beyond the £120 mark - Kafka

| I'm really torn on bidding or not, because I love the figure and it does'nt come up for auction very often, but equally I just dont feel right paying a massive premium for a figure just because it is rare. Unfortunately four new car tyres means I just havn't got the cash, but it it goes cheap I'll be gutted. Good luck to any bidders, I hope the winner is a member of this forum and paints it up and posts some pics. ps: What kiss of death? = jinx | |

I'm sorry, but what exactly does jinx mean and why should nobody be interested. What makes this auction a jinx?

| Jinx: An object/ person that brings bad luck; or can also be referenced when talking about a future event with too much confidence. So.... it is a superstition that the act of everyone stating that the Jester is valuable and will go for a high price as an almost certainty will causes the price to be actually be low. - Quote :

I'll be watching the adventures of that Jester. Best of luck to you guys who's been after one!

| I don't think it makes sense to post anything in this thread that is related to Mordheim, or else we're at 20 pages next week. The thread wasn't meant for personal pimping of ebay auction but I don't see a big problem with it either... I don't know.. Personally I'd like to keep this thread "interesting" and only see noteworthy auctions posted in here. Not the average "I'm selling my plastic orc warband" type of thing... I really can't wait to see how the jester auction ends.. And I do hope I don't miss it. It's like 8 days away or so... EDIT: I created a thread for users to post their own ebay auctions here: https://boringmordheimforum.forumieren.com/t4859-post-your-ebay-auction-hereAlso I have to apologize for not making the intention of this thread clear - actually I didn't have a clear intention when I created it, but now I think it makes sense to separate "interesting" ebay findings (=this thread) from user auctions (=the new thread) - which very well may be just as interesting! So again, sorry for the confusion that this caused. | |
