Sorry about flash, it's the only real focus i could get before my battery died. The minis left eye does have a hole on the lower lid. it's not part sphere like a bubble though.



I must say i had doubts about it's authenticity untill i saw some of the pieces the ex-owner has sitting on a shelf .... nothing spectacular but certainly straight from the studio. I'll be picking up a halfling pimp and a couple of other goodies tomorrow from the post office

One can say what one want about mr. jester here, but he is a super weird person, fitting perfectly in the mordheim background. Why couldnt those guys produce more of this weirdostuff?! By the way, what a nice codpiece!

Jester looks more like the real deal from this pic. All good then.

Oh, having paid ten bucks for the Eldar harpist, I visited my mate Eddy over the weekend and he had an Elven lyre player from an old Wood Elf command group which didn't come up during my research. He offered it to me but I found the command on an auction whilst up in Newcastle. See link below.

The deal was the Pimp, a Gyrinx, Jokaero, Death Ferret and 3 pieces of architecture for £180.

Not bad considering the 3 animals go for £40 ish each, last pimp went for £65 ish and the architecture pieces are like hens teeth

The elf is nice and have no doubt he'll arrive on ebay pretty soon .... Sea Elf #14 went on ebay the other day for £7

That ferret would be right at home down the Pimp's trouser leg.

Seeing as he's wearing a mink-fur coat it couldn't be more appropriate! I have a a Jokaero miniature in my Norse warband, moonlighting as a Fighting (Arctic) Monkey (of the Northlands).

Anything significant on the reverse of the Pimp's tab Kafka? The sculpt looks a similar flavour to the 3rd Edition Halfling Blood Bowl players.

I received an odd figure from a recent ebay purchase and i am wondering if anyone can tell me about it. it is very similar to a male Empire Bright Wizard from the Army Box... but this one has the head of the Sister's Auger. It isn't a kit bash it is a cast model. They obviously got a little lazy and added a woman's head and breasts or changed it from female to male /shrug... I think it will be a cool addition to my warband. Any comments would be helpful. I have pictures of the Male and Mine below.

@Kafka: Nice view of the pimp scratching his arse! Looking forward to seeing you get paint on these rarities.

@Arvenger: That's a superb looking female wizard miniature. Hedge wizardry immediately springs to mind. She would make a sensational witch or mystic.

The famous(-ish) duo of Van Hal & Hasberg is about to sell for a price that gives a good return on the original investment. They are a couple of lovely sculpts though.

I noticed Van Hal makes a cameo in this beautifully crafted warband on the Hot Mini or Not web site...

An unusual publication is the Warhammer Fantasy scenario pack called 'McDeath'. For anyone who hasn't heard of it, 'McDeath' was the 2nd scenario release ever for the Warhammer game and included tons of cool ideas for tabletop campaign adventure.

Some of the rarer miniatures accompanying this Albion themed scenario game release were recently listed on ebay.

I picked up a set of the characterful Crazed Commandos pictured here.

By far the greatest interest was in the female lead from the Warhammer campaign, Lady McDeath herself. Here is a link to the hard-to-find sorceress miniature who caused stir.

Seeing as I couldn't find a decent image of the miniature, I will upload one here too for posterity! I thinks her ladyship looks snazzy.

Spotted this auction on Buy it now for £3 :



The 1980's dungeon debris and magic items initially cought my eye; always on the look for spares i bought them .... only to take a second glance at the rest of the items to reveal a citadel townsfolks sheep (shown clicky) on SOL

These sell for £200 !

Anyone else confirm this is looking like the citadel sheep from the pics ?

This appears to be a jumble of assorted goodies. The sheep is definitely looking sheepish. This miniature appears to be a non-slotta and I thought the infamous farm animal had a tab on it? As I recall the goat from the dungeon range was a non-tabbed release.

If it is the £200+ Rare item then 'ewe' are going to Hell!

Regardless of what it is, the farmer who flogged this lot for £3 really wants to be flogging himself.

Bah !

Well it turrns out it wasn't the citadel sheep *laughs* good spot with the tab Werekin ! There's a pig in there too but no markings on the base. I had the goat from a while back but the pic shows the pig and sheep.




Ebay wise there's another Unreleased Mutant up. Currently on £62.88 and a week to go.

Anyone else notice that Games Workshop are dropping production of metal cast miniatures ? Prices are going to be worse than ever from here on in
