all the English dudes that are sitting on a heeps of minis that there selling only in the UK are loosing out big time.

ok i understand that the post in spain, greece and italy suck but the rest of northern europe has among the best post systems in the world.

games workshop and other mini shops are more common in the UK and have been for a long time so its much harder to find some minis here in Sweden then it would be in the UK. we have only a few shops that sell minis if your not buying from the web.

so the lesson here is to not only sell them in the UK but in the rest of (northern) Europe (Ireland, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Denmark)

you are right that uk seller often sell only in the uk, but it newer hurts to ask if they will be will sell to other countries. I wouldn't say they all do but most that I have asked have been glad to sell to me in finland

I found this guy on Ebay that sells a lot of old, interesting warhammer mini's, mostly metal at really low BIN prices. For example hes selling those old metal ogres for £5.99 with free P&P. I already bought 3 dwarves off him and they arrived really quick.
For all those who do not live in the UK message him and he may do deliveries to other countries.
I just thought you would all like to know about this guy to pick up some crazy deals, I've seen some really nice, old Dark elf / Kislev / Dwarf / Ogre / Hobgoblin / Human.... miniatures that I'd buy if I was made of money but, being a student, Im extremely financially challenged!

I've purchased a few pieces from him, but there are still a few choice pieces going for less than eBay prices; especially the Averlanders.

Speaking of Averländer: There is a complete, painted warband online. Sure, it is 200€ or 270$, but 7 of the 16 models are original Averländer and the other ones are not too bad either. AND the paintjob looks really great. Concidering you might pay close to the amount for 7 Averländer-minis alone, 200€ doesn't seem THAT much (in proportion...).

This Warhammer sealed blister pack is, obviously, new and unused. Pictures are stock photos.
So I wouldn't bit on what I see, but what is in the title, which is the sealed blister? And sealed doesn't mean NIB, but that the blister could have been opened and resealed?

I KNOW this is technically only an "interesting ebay finding" if you stretch the definition very far, but something happened the other day when I wanted to bid on a certain ebay-mordheim auction and I think here might be the place to get an answer. I searched ebay but couödn't get one.
WHAT HAPPENED: I was bidding and then a notice came up saying (in german) that I couldn't bid because the seller only offered the stuff to a certain group of people. Has anybody had that before? There wasn't a notice beforehand, I wouldn't have bothered to bid if there was, but this way it was all rather frustrating to me.
Hope my explanation wasn't too chaotic...

I think that ... situations definately warrants its own thread. Anyways, I don't think I have come across that situation before. Like you, I know that those auctions are "hidden" to you where the seller does not ship to your location. But what you described sounds weird... I'm not sure but can you configure your auction to be only available to people with a certain rating (like 100% positive or 100+ ratings)? Even then I would expect ebay to hide the auction to you like they do with the restricted shipping destinations.
