| You know, I generally frown upon anything green in Mordheim, but you make it work wonderfully! | |

| This update is mostly for the scale comparison to a mini, so here you go: And a little shot of the... errmm... what to call it... water hole,square,source,well,fountain..thingy Still need to finish painting the corpses and add water effect, but you can see where i'm going with it. (and yes, that was a rubbish attempt to make a Captain Jack conversion.. was originally a necronumda delaque) More coming soon, just got some filler for texturing the walls, so shall make some further progress on the next build | |

| Beautiful, i really like the dinginess of the pool, and the filth, moss, and decrepitude of the buildings! | |

| Now for a proper work in progress from the early stages since the rest have been complete/almost complete. Haven't quite decided how big i'm going with this one yet, but it shall be a destroyed tavern. The bottom floor is completely intact, sealed off, with the upper floors open and destroyed, removable stairs leading up to it... sort of like the bottom area for boozing, and the above for sleeping or some such. Planning on a hanging sign, so any cool name suggestions are welcomed! | |

| I absolutely love it. All it needs is a sign with a fish on it.
I think it should be called something along those lines.
"The Drunken Fish" "The Mystic Fish" "Fish Grog Tavern" "The Silver Fish" "Grumpy Gills Groghouse" "The Screaming Bass" "Blind Fish Hall"
Just a few... | |

| The bottom-intact floor should be made to store barrels of wine and ale! and keep 'em at the right temperature and humidity.. top floors for everything else!
Name: "Drunken Minotaur"

Ewwww! Grog made from fish.. *shudders* Anyway.... just added the next walls. Shall try making it taller, but with all this damn comet damage, it's proving difficult

| VERY, VERY nicely done (as usual)!
Names...
The Salty Maiden Der Osterfishe The Manticore's Spoor The Blunderbear (after the Blunderbuss-toting bear from the rulebook illustrations) The Flying Fishe The Two-tailed Fish The Nerd's Inn (assuming you'll be putting gaming tables inside)
I'll keep thinking. | |

The two winners so far. I have a vision in my mind of a name which can be a play on words, something a little comedic, tied in to the game/scenario, and also possible to recreate, for example, mini mini gaming table, or some wench minis - Mr.chair wrote:

This did cross my mind, but I would either need to change/simplify my technique to speed up production time, or increase the overall build and painting quality for the other end of the market... I think for now i'll just horde and enjoy all of my own builds!

| That is a great looking ruined inn. I love that it is a tall building with possibilities for great shoot-outs and swashbuckling action with leaps and falls to certain death here is a name suggestion: The Smoking Kipper, imagine a sign of a herring with a pipe in his mouth | |

| *runs in screaming*
priming this damn thing with black acrylic using a bush is taking soooooooooooooooooooooo long. Right now my arms are covered with paint, accidently nudging against parts trying to get the tricky angles.
Shall hopefully make some good progress tomorrow starting the initial paint base coats and brightening it all up... well, as bright as mordheim gets anyway. Glad i've got the main color technique sorted. The very first was very very trial and error, covering up coat after coat trying to find the right combination.
Many thanks again for all the comments and compliaments! Will leave the naming and sign painting until last, need to get some practice, and get a new detail brush first.

Now you know why most of my buildings aren't painted yet... Keep going, this is one piece of terrain that deserves a paint job! I'll be back...
