VERY CLEVER use of available materials. Seeing modeling possibilities in the shapes of ordinary objects not only will yield some REALLY unique pieces, but also save you a fair amount of money. The pill bottle sewage pipe is a FINE example of this skill. GOOD START on what should prove to be a FINE model.
