| While not technically terrain, I first showed my Airship in this thread so I figured you might be interested... As for my terrain building adventures, life is just about killing me at the moment and the little time and energy I have left I want to focus on getting my Empire army battle ready. Sometimes inspiration just hits you... This morning, just after a nice breakfast, it hit me! I decided to get my Airship, collect all my tools, plastic rods and a load of other stuff and get some work done on the beast... This is where I left my Airship a couple of months ago... The wings, hull and cockpit were more or less finished. The first thing I added were these anchors... Big, pointy and brutal looking, these things will make sure my Airship won't drift of (imagine one of these crashing through your roof) at the hint of a breeze... I also secured the balloon to the Airship... The chains are from LEGO, these things are absolutely brilliant for this kind of thing, plastic and lightweight! None of the parts (boiler, cockpit, balloon) have been glued yet, but they already fit quite well... The balloon still needs a lot of detailing but you should get the general direction of where this project is going... I still need to add some weaponry (I want this thing to be bristling with guns!) and a crew, but the bulk of the Airship is now finished! Thanks for watching! As always, your feedback is greatly appreciated, so please let me know what you think... | |

Thanks! Yes, the balloon certainly gives the Airship some much needed logic - Quote :

Yes indeed... I have a couple of the things ready for such a task, but the problem is space... Currently I lack the room to place them on the Airship... - Quote :

Seriously, this is, to say the least, really fantstic. I am impressed, very impressed, and I feel like stealing your stuff. Thanks! Get me a job and I will make the move... My wife already works for IKEA (seriously) so she should fit right in. The Airship still needs a lot of detailing, but I'm already quite satisfied with the result. Please check out my Stirland army thread in the Painting and Modelling section for more Empire related goodness...

| Awesome and absolute top imaginative work, again. Your ideas seem to just pop up every evening, and it also seems to take you only a few days to realize those things, absolute fantastic, and a very BIG plus for the tom-community! | Hey guys! Thanks for the feedback!
I've posted another major update with a load of pics on my Stirland log (which can be found in the Painting and Modelling section of this great forum) and I hope to see you there... The Airship is now done and ready for paint!
I hope to get you some updates on my terrain asap...

| I must say that I like your particular style to building, its certainly a bit cartoonish, with exaggerated features without too much details. Then, you enhance it with your detailing, wich, in my oppinion helps making the details to stand out but also make the overall effect of it to blend in and yield a very nice appearance. I have been contemplating to scrap my own buildings and whatnots in favour of your style, wich of course would mean that we coudlent use the table-top stuff, but it wouldent be a problem, that can be used on another building project, wich will be taken care of later, when the pirate island is done. | |

| Thanks! Though my Mordheim project is a bit dormant at the moment in favour of my Empire army there is still some activity... Detailing the buildings is a lot of fun and it makes the city look good, too! It also serves as the perfect excuse for putting of painting... On another note: I posted a Witchfate Tor in the trade section. There must be someone out there interested in a nice deal | |

| I am actually trying to convince my co-conspirators that we should go "your" way when it comes to our buildings and buildstyle, but I have run in to some resistance, mainly due to the fact that we have made quite a few buildings allready. The issue I have, is that they are not in the same style. What I mean with that is, that they dont all look like they belong in the same place. We will see what happends hehe. | |

| For my Empire army and Mordheim warband I've made custom bases using plasticard. I made a mould of these and can cast them in plaster. Under construction... Every plasticard tile was cut and detailed by hand. Some of the originals just after being retrieved from the mold... Some of the very first casts... Sizes available: Small infantry (20x20mm) Monster (40x40mm) Great for uit fillers! Rank (20x80mm) Double small infantry (20x40mm) A very handy base! Chariot (50x100mm) Cavalry (25x50mm) Artillery (60x80mm) Also useful for big monsters (I based my Giant on one of them) My Empire army is now nearing maximum size so I have bases to spare (and can cast more if you want them). These bases can be supplied in any number desired Check out my Stirland thread in the Painting and Modelling section for some examples... Hit me with a PM or reply in the trade section if interested. | |

| Very impresed with your work. I have just started my own mordheim boards and terrain and will be stealing alot of your amazing ideas. Great use of your own molds, I was inspired to start playing around with them once I saw your triumphs.
Cant wait to see that board all painted up and finished (there is never an end to building)

| It has been a long time since the last proper update... There have been some rumors of GW releasing a 'Garden of Morr' for quite some time. My corner of Mordheim still lacks a proper cemetary so I figured I'd better get a headstart and build my own... Fluffwise, a Garden of Morr is a walled area. This first piece is a corner wall. The gaps will be closed with plastic fences (much like my other walls). This project will be big and will consist of several parts. I want to be able to use it on my Mordheim board and on my main gaming table. I also added some additional detail to my gate (again)... The Garden of Morr will feature a gate very similar to this one... Thanks for watching! As always, your feedback is greatly appreciated, so please let me know what you think... | |

Where come the plastic fences come from?

- @Boreas_NL: looking good so far. I understand that you plan on making walls/fences all around your garden? Maybe it is a good idea to leave some small parts open, to make it easier accessible during games?
Thanks! The walls encircling the Garden of Morr (and anything that will be inside it: statues, trees, mausolea) will be done in several separate pieces. That way I can also use them on my Mordheim board... A bit like my other wall sections, but only on a larger scale. - Quote :

Theo LOL! Thanks! Drooling all over your keyboard probably isn't good for your computer, but don't let me stop you... - Quote :

Thanks! I make those myself... I posted a little tutorial on how to make these about a year ago. You can find it HERE... Small update... I've started building a second wall section. It's not yet finished, it still needs most of the details... A comparison shot of the new wall next to one of my first sections... The start of my first mausoleum... Thanks for watching! | Yesterday I stumbled across some very nice conversion bits from Scribor miniatures... They were originally intended as conversion parts for Space Marine tanks, but I saw other possibilities... I'm still working on my own Garden of Morr, and these bits were just what I needed! These are the bits... I removed the armour plates they were moulded on and sanded them down quite a bit. The two smallest bits... Ideal for use above doors and arches. Detail shot... The medium sized cloaked figures are just right for this... A close-up of the two separate figures... The comet on the shield was done with just a tiny blob of GS. These two figures required the most work... A lot of cutting and sanding was needed to make them fit, but I'm very pleased with the final result! All these bits will be used in my Garden of Morr but also in my modular dungeon. These nice cloaked figures will really gothic things up a bit... Thanks for watching! As always, your feedback is greatly appreciated, so please let me know what you think...

What do you think I made the molds right after I posted these pics. I just removed the masters from the molds and the first plaster casts are drying right now! I have some great plans for my first mausoleum and I need these bits to make it work... EDIT: I just released the first plaster casts from the molds... Perfection
