| The Board is finally getting some color. I did the rock facing, AND the paving stones, cobblestones, & slimy areas have their base coats applied: ...now on to the highlighting et al! | |

| Thanks, Jim. Monochromatic may be dramatic, but color lives... AND gaudy is my thing. | |

| Thanks for the kind reply, Chief! It's coming along nicely. I have the Gate/Walkway in place. The paving/cobblestones & slime will look like the base on this Hovel: ...to give you an idea what the rest of the board will look like. | |

| Why now that you mention it, we ARE in part III. Usually sequels aren't as good as the original. Good job! Will there be Ewoks? | |

| I doubt there will be Ewoks; Gremlins are a more likely possibility. | |

| SO, after much agonizing over colors & such, I finally have the Steam Punk Observatory underway: This one of those awkward, fiddly detailed pieces that take forever to paint. I hope that posting photos will keep me going...maybe. | |

| Your color schemes are superb, never gaudy. You definitely have a surrealistic style all your own. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work! | |

| WELCOME HOME! I've been keeping myself busy for the most part. The Observatory is one of those pieces that is hard to keep enthusiastic about...it is basically a pain to work on & the end never seems insight. I think it will finish off The Village portion of The Twisted Tower Board nicely, but just getting it done will be THE highlight of The Project. All that aside, I'm glad you like it. Thanks for the reply, Jim! | |

| The vat of green goo and body parts looks incredible! I really need to get some beads one of these days. The observatory does look like it will take some time, but I feel it's the kind of piece that will really stand out when finished! Keep up the hard work, everything looks great so far! | |

| Thanks for the reply, Chief. I'm delighted you like the stuff & goo! One of the problems with an attention grabber is that it will attract as much attention if poorly done as it will if painted to perfection. So far the Observatory is coming along fairly nicely. I have high hopes for it. Do checkout the beads & other jewelry things; they have all sorts of uses. | |

| I wasn't going to post anymore photos of The Observatory, but one of the Fellows from the Reaper Forum needed to see further W.I.P.. SO: ...there you go. All the base colors are on plus some highlight is done. | |
