| Thanks, Jim. Still cooking away on Hovel #06...eventually they will all have names rather than #s. I have all the roof shingles in place, the bricks carved, & painting the sucker black. | |

| Woot! Mother Pringles! I see another advertiser for da Big Toof Shouta... I'm sure all the businesses of Maudhiem would love a franchise in Big Toof. I think she needs more chimneys and maybe an attached vat or two for the proper manufacture of potions. At least a lot of chimes, charms and such hanging about. Just a thought to slow you down a bit... Do you need/want any bats? I got bats, spiders... No newts though. | |

...sounds like a FINE idea. There is always a need for more Witchcraft markets. - Von Kurst wrote:

Now THAT is a GREAT idea. A nice Vat would be just the thing for that open space by the Personable Mushroom. Thanks, Jim! ...it didn't take all that long to make a start on it either:

| I'm still in an early morning funk, so I'm looking forward to today also...it's got to be better than it is right now. ...moments later: I just started doing the stone work on the gate.walkway. It's amazing, the power of the first cup of coffee. | |

| Thanks, Jim. At 27 1/2" from ground to the top of the stork nest, it's one of the three tallest buildings I've made...can't make life easy for the braid climbing Princes. | |

| Thanks, Jim! I'm going to add an exhaust pipe & some gears to imply the steam winch inside that the braid is hooked up to...just a lever could work as a dead weight device. Either way it's quicker to the top than you would guess. | |

| Since you never out grow your need for Mushrooms, AND I need to something with the excess green stuff from The Braid, I made some more of the George Bush (The Elder) style Mushrooms: Friend Jay, from the Reaper Forum, suggested doing an Operatic Tenor Mushroom ...seen here in the green: ... AND in his prime(r): ...I'm easily influenced...at times. | |

| And thank goodness for that! The shrooms are a joy as always. If you have the Foundry Valkyries you could pose a duet | |

| Thanks, Jim...glad you like them. I've never picked up any of the Foundry minis. They just don't seem all that available, although they do have some splendid looking pieces. I was toying with the idea of making a Mushroom Diva, but I just haven't come up with ideas or motivation...yet. | |

| One of my game store colleagues was an historical gamer so I would get the minis he had to have once but had never painted cheap. Never got any of the big viking girls though.* Otherwise, as far as pricing, Foundry was GW before GW.
*As far as I can tell anyway. I was cleaning out my stored library yesterday and found a bunch of loose Reaper fighters in the bottom of a box of books. No idea why I bought them or when. Hate that.

| Although I've never seen them in the pewter, I liked the look of their Renaissance Orcs. I did paint some of their Indian Mutiny minis as a commission. I was not impressed. The detail was minimal & the pieces were devoid of personality much like what I expected from war games miniature of an earlier time. | |
