| Hi there!
I'm Joseph, been playing Warhammer 40k for the past couple years, and been taking it more seriously with finding other of the specialist games that interested me. Already made myself a Necromunda Gang (Cawdor) that I'm loving and was intrigued by the appeal of Mordheim, so currently in the process of designing lists and models that I want to have! I know back home in Wakefield in Yorkshire, one of the clubs have some Mordheim folks, so going to try and join with them this Summer!
Looking to make a Dwarf party, a Witch Hunter party and also a Bretonnian one if I'm allowed! (Seen the rules for them and just love the thought of a knight surrounded by peasants) | |

| Greetings everyone from the hot, humid swamplands of Florida, USA. I was introduced to my first game of D&D in the early 80’s and have been gaming on and off ever since. Game systems have come and gone while the good ones have continued to evolve (sometimes not for the better). Of most interest to me has always been the settings. Whats a good game system without a great setting and vice versa? The Warhammer world held a special interest to me that has grown over the years as the setting itself expanded through RPG’s, tabletop gaming, novels etc. becoming more “real” and full of rich detail. When Mordheim first came out it captured my new found interest in tabletop gaming with the RPG feel of characterization and storytelling possibilities wrapped up in a little gem of a Warhammer setting. It was short lived though due to life’s responsibilities, finding the right gaming group, time etc. So the desire sat there through the years after college as I slowly collected models, books, and materials in the hopes of someday “getting it together”. I dabbled at painting, (horribly I might add) and building homemade terrain. All the while I continued RPG gaming with my best friend and an ever revolving group of players. We even got a chance to play a few games of Mordheim with the assembled boxed set buildings and miniatures that ranged from unpainted (majority), badly painted, and partially badly painted. About two years ago my best friend and I decided to go full bore with Mordheim in a character/warband driven story-based campaign, comprised of as many of the official warbands that we could put together and paint while building some terrain and buildings. He and his family lived about an hour and a half away so it was difficult getting together as often as we liked. It was a big undertaking for two guys with busy lives but we decide, once and for all, to finally “get it going”. We each bought additional minis to fill out the warbands we wanted, worked on the campaign, and began some not so horrible painting. Turned out he was a much better painter than me so I was glad that at least half our warbands would look good. Unfortunately my friend became gravely ill and the momentum for our campaign came to a standstill. My last visit with him was in the hospital. He passed away a year and a half ago. R.I.P. my friend, till we meet again. I’m sorry if my introduction sounds like a bloated history with a sad ending, but the reason I’m telling it is because something happened about six months ago. I was in the process of moving to my current residence and was unpacking all of my gaming stuff. I began to go through my stuff, happily remembering all the good times and many years of gaming with my friend. With a tear in my eye, I opened a box of my minis I was planning to use for our Mordheim campaign and I happen to find a mini that my friend painted. I must have accidentally packed it up with my things on one of my visits to his house. It was a dwarf slayer. We both loved Warhammer dwarfs. My first thought was to return it to his family as his son was just getting involved in RPG’s before his father passed. Unfortunately I had lost contact with them. Regardless, something in me switched and I was inspired. I decided to start where we left off and although I didn’t and still don’t have a gaming group, I figured I’d start by learning how to paint and build structures for the game that never came to fruition. I began reading about miniature painting, techniques, paints, mediums, materials etc. and started a new love for painting. Through that research I found this forum. I’m new to forums in general as one could probably tell by my excessively long intro, but the name of this forum does have the word “boring” and “Mordheim” in it so maybe I’m in the right place. I guess my next step would be to begin posting pics of some of the minis I’ve been painting, but I’m not sure yet how to do so or where. I suppose I’ll start reading the tutorials. For those who had the endurance to read all of this, thank you for your time and I will post as soon as I learn how and am able. | |

| Probably the easiest way is to open an account with PhotoBucket. You can upload your photos there for free...at least until you need more room. Once you have the photos loaded, there are a couple of options for posting them. | |

| Hi all, I've recently returned Mordheim after nearly 14 years. Grateful for all the accumulated resources, there's so much mileage in the format! Wondered if there are any groups knocking around Manchester, U.K, for casual gaming, maybe the odd campaign? Just want to get a game going, even in a minor form! Great to see there's still a community | |

| Hi mates!
I am a 43 family man, sword fighter, player of games and game developer from Denmark, I have played miniature games, boardgames and tabletop RPGs since the early 80ies. I have a special place in my heart for small unit skirmish games with rpg elements. I used to, and sometimes still, play a lot of Necromunda with my friends, an old friend and I have recently 'discovered' Mordheim (I mean we always knew it existed we just never got around to playing it) and here I am looking to discuss the ins and outs and get some inspiration.
Cheers Kasper aka Lorka

| Hello gamers! I'm a high school teacher in Moree, NSW Australia. I played Mordheim fairly regularly in the mid 2000s, but haven't played in nearly 10 years. I've recently gotten back into the tabletop hobby and excited to get back into Mordheim! I'm in the process of getting my miniatures and terrain back up to scratch, but I have some players lined up for a not-to-distant-future foray back into the city of the damned! here's a photo of my pirate warband. Look forward to engaging with you guys in the future! | |

| Hey all! It's been some years since I last had a regular Mordheim group (last was while I was still in the military in Colorado back in 2010/11ish), but I'm getting back in the saddle again and figured it would be appropriate to throw a post up in here. We are running a fairly regular (many times daily) house league here with family and friends and I'm slowly working on putting a Lustria campaign together to tie it all in...and it feels great haha! Good times are in store for us | |
