Well ok I'm not an admin i know but at every starting forum I like to start a post where Forums visiters introduce themselves. hehe well I'll be the first:

Favourite Fantasy Character: Well although you find alot in real life my favourite has to be the stout, Ale Blood, hard headed, fat, smelly Dwarf
Something about myself: Well I'm currently a student at the MCAST college in Malta. I'm currently trying to get my diploma in Electronics (this year hopefully). Also, although I'm still young, I'm currently in a relationship which has been going on since December 2005 . I'm a big fan of the Lord of the rings trilogy and a big Warhammer Fantasy fan although i don't play WF. i love painting and converting individual models. Me and a friend started playing Mordheim this summer. We've stopped playing now so that we can focus on luring more players into this game and start working on a playing table.

You are 100% right, every decent Forum should have a place where new members can introduce themselves! I took the liberty of moving your post into the NEWBIE'S CORNER section, where I think it is more adequate.

I'll edit the description though, so it becomes more clear that this is where one should start posting upon registering on the forum! That way future members will go directly there

Next year I'll be 18 I'll get my First Diploma (I can start working on simple circuits)
then after that i can continue studying in a 3 year course or so to get my BTEC Certificate and thats that

I've been a fan of Tom's Boring Mordheim Blog for awhile now, since before I opened my hobby shop. A friend of mine turned me on to a YouTube vid that Tom did in regards to one of their campaigns, and I thought it was brilliant! I greatly look forward to seeing something from Tom submitted for the Mordheim ezine that I am starting up (I'm a master of Subtle hints, can you not tell?).

Anyway, I am happy to see yet another fan-site pop up with their own forums. Looks great (I'd expect nothing less) and I shall have to visit as my time permits!

Hi there. I recently discovered Tom's blog while browsing google for good Mordheim scenery. The inn truly impressed me so I read the whole blog. I play mordheim with a friend from time to time. My warband is not yet painted, his's is though. Over the past years we made a couple of scenery (enough to fill a smaller than standard table) but nothing truly beautifull. Now it starts to look like something, im curently making a 4x4 board. Carving all these stone takes soooooo lonng! In a couple of month maybe we'll have something not to be ashamed of hehe.

I've found this forum (as well as the blog) via sg forums.

I've been playing mordheim for a couple of years or so, but there are only a few games from time to time as I lve in a boardng school and players are virtually limited to none. It's my last year now and hopefully I'll mange this time o find some fellow players... at least I got a drivers licese now so it's not impossible anymore to get my scenery from home to school (which was always a bad thing with a backpack...)

well, the warband I'm playing at the moment is Leopolds Lumpige Lausebuben (Leopolds Ragged Rascals), some Reikland mercenaries, who did quite well in my little 2-player not-story-or-map-based campaign:)

I'm Nicolas from Köln in Germany and your blog is a truely great source of inspiration for our own campaigns, so I decided to join the forum.

Hi, i entered in this forum after my friend Hellfoot introduced me to Mordheim this summer. At last the week before i boought my models, which are Reiklanders, and begain to assemble them, though for me it is not easy as i pretended to be.

Something about myself: Like Hellfoot im currently a student in M.C.A.S.T, taking a National diploma course, studying to become a draughtsperson. evenmore, im also workin in a company with architects and some draughtspersons, untill the course is finished. The Mordheim Fantasy game is pretty nice, eventhough I 'm not very keen of fantasy board games.

Let me introduce myself Im Matthew im from Australia and i have been playing wargames for about 7 years (dam i feel old ), anyways i have been playing Mordheim for about 4 and i love the game Favorite Warbands are:
- Witch Hunters
- Beastmen
- Pitfighters (Currently playing and converted myself)

I play Ogre Kingdoms in Warhammer and Space Marines in 40K.

I am a draughtsman atm while i also have ia diploma in civil engineering while in my off time i play rugby and convert and play(dam it not enough time in a week )

Hello fellow Mordheimers!

I've been meaning to introduce myself for a while and now: I'm a 32-year-old music teacher from the UK. I used to collect and play with fantasy miniatures as a kid and have returned to the hobby after a break of 20 years.

The Mordheim setting has really captured my imagination and I've had great fun building scenery for it - partly inspired by Tom's excellent YouTube video. (I'll post some pics in the building section of my efforts so far.)

I haven't actaully played a single game yet as I've been so engrossed in creating the scenery for it, but I have an undead warband waiting to be painted.

Oops - I'd better go; my wife is serving dinner

Yeah of course we would be glad to help you! For the moment we're a rather small community, and the Admin (Tom) is away for holidays (he's coming back on the 20th of September), but keep an eye for new messages on this forum!
If you have some questions or problems concerning the scenery and/or miniature painting, don't hesitate to ask on the forum! Never hesitate to start a new topic! It's better to share our questions and answers so that everyone can read these and learn from the others.
(OMG I sound like a cheap psychiatrist in a group therapy... )

Anyway, concerning painting I'm a noob myself so I'm sure I can learn some new things!

Tom made a special "Warband Gallery" in this forum, so when you finish painting your zombies you can show them to us! "Niiiiiice... braaaaaains"

And why did you suddenly decide to start again, after 20 years? Did you find an old box in your former bedroom, full of dust, and full of old warhammer miniatures, waking some long-forgotten memories of your childhood?
