Hi. I'm Kevin. I live in the USA. I've been playing Mordheim for a few years now and have a small group of friends and family that play almost weekly. I usually play warbands specializing in shooting and/or spell casting. I am quite impressed with the custom models and terrain posted on this website.

I am a veteran Blood Bowl, 40k and Necromunda player who is looking to get involed in my first Mordheim campaign next month. I am hoping I can get some good Ostlander advice here and check out some cool minis.

Hi there, I've been painting/gaming warhammer since 96, and bought the Mordheim startbox when it came to the stores for the first time (1999?). I have worked for Games workshop and some for the 'Eavy Metal team, but quit and started tattooing instead. So now I paint and hurt humans for a living.
Other from painting and gaming I hang out with my girlfriend and my buddies.

Warbands from the past:
Reiklanders, marienburgers, possassed and skaven.

And just started playing Mordheim again efter 4 or 5 years.
Now Im working on a Witch Hunter and a pit fighter warband. Pictures comming soon...

I'm a bit late with this, but hello!

I've been playing warhammer for quite some years (mainly with The Empire), but I've only recently got into Mordheim. Even so, I've always loved Mordheim's blackly-comic atmosphere, and (especially) its miniatures.

So, I already have a great many Mordheim miniatures - probably enough to make several different warbands at once. But very little scenary.

Anyway, I like the forum. Thanks for existing!

After some careful nudging on Warseer, I've decided to register myself here on this forum, the home of all things related to Mordheim...

My name is Martijn, but online I go with the alias Boreas. I'm a 28 year old primary school teacher from the Netherlands. I've been playing Warhammer for about 15 years now (started well before GW opened their first store in our country). I only recently started Mordheim, but I am already hooked!

Hi guys,

I took a feed on this marvelous forum because I wanted to make some scenery for Mordheim, and seldom have original ideas.
I must admit, I'm 43 and live in Belgium. I bought Mordheim when it came out, waaaaay back, and only started playing it a couple of months ago with my youngest son (age 14). (guess I had to make children first and then waited for them to get old enough to play with ...) I also must admit he beats me nearly every time...
In my teens I assembled and painted the occasional aeroplane or tank and then stopped modelling. But when I was about 23 I picked up a copy of Heroquest and that was when I got hooked on miniatures. Then bought advanced Heroquest and finally Warhammer Quest and Mordheim. I played WHQ with my two sons, but most games ended in them fighting over the treasure and who should get it. So that was the point where I thought Mordheim might be a nice solution to play two player games ...
After my second visit to this truly amazing site, I went directly to the shop to buy some foamcard and balsa wood. Now I have about 3 or 4 buildings (not bad, but they'll be never as fancy as most of the stuff I see here), a Middenheimer band, a Sisters band (painted couple of years ago), finishing a witchhunter's band now, and have an undercoated possessed band planned next. I also bought some of the Rackham figures that can be used for Mordheim. I'll try to learn to take pictures and post them when I find the time. (I'm a very slow painter ; one fig can easily take me weeks before finishing...)
Okay, enough rambling. Just wanted to thank all of you for keeping this site and the hobby alive, and wanted to let you know that it's not only the young that are spending way too much time and money on little toys ...

And how is that abnormal? Don't worry, I am a slow painter too. Sure I have my few speed-painting techniques that I use on regiments, but otherwise, I like to take my time too.

I don't know how one gets the pictures in their messages ; I got to some server to upload the picture. So I just copied the link to an old Gotrek fig to try out how this works.
I searched the threads and faq's. Is there a guideline for internet dummies somewhere ?
Or is the try with Gotrek the right way to do it ?
