| Sundayheim--Jungle SkirmishThe Toss Their Hair Tribe meet the Suncrashas From the Saga of the Toss Their Hair Tribe
On the third day of the Moon of Hot Days Freya the Priestess led the tribe against a new tribe of greenskins. The battle took place near the Cave of the Old One. Lorna One Arm, Bunny the Slayer and Kara the Archer laid in wait by the main trail. The greenskins were much surprised by the hail of arrows. One warrior was hit three times but refused to fall. The rest of the tribe rushed toward the fighting.
Many orcs fell before the Zoat, Hera's blade and the arrows of the tribe. But the greenskins would not flee. They just slogged closer until the tribe was forced to fight with spear and sword. Even more orcs fell, but still they came on. The biggest orcs were almost immune to the blades and spears of the tribe. Praise to Rigg that these orcs were slow and unskilled.
The tribe fled before the relentless attack. The Tribe failed its first rout test. The scout Finna was killed by an orc thunder stick. The Tribe is so demoralized that they become lost in the jungle. Despite being lost they accept 3 doses of Dark Venom for a captured Orc hero. The Toss Their Hair Tribe--1 CP The Suncrashas win a costly victory. 2 boyz die and a hero is captured. The Black Orcs sailed back to Torktuga where they recruited more boyz and bought some lucky charms. (Got a hochland long rifle and an elf bow and NO lucky charms! Crazy!) ____________________________________________________________________________________ Campaign Points as of Week 7Jim B--Undead. | You guys have some seriously cool scenery. It makes the game so much more alive. I was wondering, where do you get those objectives from? Is it from the Lustria campaign, or something you came up with yourselves? And how does it work? It seems like something we could implement. |

The concept and basic framework of the objectives is taken from the Border Town Burning campaign supplement. We modified them a bit for our own purposes. My work in progress thread is here-- https://boringmordheimforum.forumieren.com/t6570-karibbean-moonriseThere are several other threads in the Rules and Gameplay section about modifying the BTB objectives for Mordheim campaigns.

Sisters had 3 torches [but no Outrider]. Traps were their undoing. 1st trap triggered, arrow trap, no injuries. 2nd trap triggered was a 3” deep pit. 3 sisters fell in and were all knocked down. 3rd trap triggered was another arrow trap, used up a Lucky charm. 4th trap triggered was a cage, trapped a Novice for a turn. (she beat her way out) 5th trap triggered was another pit, 1” deep and right in the doorway!!! Sister Superior Regina fell in with her torch. Desperation ensued and 5 or so sisters tried to jump the gap. 3 jumped over and 2 fell in and 1 was knocked down. Dark Elves walked all the way in and so could not set off any traps!!! Dark Elves took the 1st shot from passage to passage and used up another Lucky charm. Sisters got into the tomb 1st and spread out. Dark Elves came in walking and shooting. With the whole room lit up with torches they were pretty successful. Sister Gilda made it to the tomb treasure chest 1st and set of a trap of 2 zombies. She held on until help arrived. They did well, and took both zombies OOA, until a Dark Elf charged in afterwards. Auger Cautious Faith II, was shot and stunned. Sister Superior Victoria and Novice Mary charged a hench elf and took him OOA. The counter-charge took both girls OOA. Another turn goes by with slings doing nothing and 1 hero still in a pit. With Mother Margrett the 1st OOA, a 2nd hero, Father Allmos (Warrior Priest), and 3 other henchwomen OOA (that is 6 OOA by then) the sisters rout. Post: Sisters take 2 treasures [the chests]. | I feel very sorry for whatever mother bore so many children named Gretta, only to see them all fall in battle. In other news, I'm still learning and meeting up with the player of the Purple Court to learn how to paint models, so, I hope that next week's photos (not this one sadly) has a few nice looking Suncrasha's for the photos.

With the appearance, however brief it may be, of Gretta VI, the reincarnation record of the many Ludwigs may be in danger...it could be a tie already. - Yilderim wrote:

That is TERRIFIC...picking up instructions from an experienced painter makes the start so much easier. Be sure to post photos of your results...some compliments aid the process also. AND WELCOME ABOARD Fearless Leader Tom's Yet On Occasion Oh-So-Cool Nonetheless Mordeim Forum.

| I think the Sisters take a new name upon joining the order. Clearly Gretta is quite popular with young, inept believers. Welcome to the forum Andrew! ______________________________________________________________________________________ Dems My GubbinzThe Toss Their Hair Tribe encounters the Purple Court From the Saga of the Toss Their Hair Tribe On the seventh day of the Moon of Hot Days Freya the Serpent Priestess heard rumors of another incursion of Undead into the realms of the Celestial Canopy. Freya made sacrifices to Rigg for victory. Modon and Freya drew water from the Sacred Well of Rigg. Lorna One Arm took the potion from the Wise Woman of Rigg. The Tribe moved to intercept the Undead near a Greenskin village that they expected to find unoccupied (as they had slaughtered the warriors of the tribe earlier). The survivors had told Freya of a great treasure hidden within the village. Freya expected to kill two birds with one stone...Modon, Bunny and Kara the Archer infiltrate the area near the village. The rest of the Tribe approaches from the southwest. The Purple Court approached from the northeast. The zombies Thera the Eagle and Sister Reckless Decay bring up the rear. The Tribe is slowed by Darkness, Freya's inability to summon light and Quicksand. The Tribe confronts the flesh eaters of the Purple Court. The Ghouls have found the Sacred Gubbin! Ketta the Vampire Slayer senses a blood drinker nearby. But she can not see the Purple Duke. The cowardly Ghouls retreat from the village as more of the Tribe arrive to try to stop them. A swarm of Vampire Bats (which is represented by an orc idol...) flies toward Duke Moore. A Kara charges the fiends to slow them, but is overwhelmed by numbers. Ketta is poised to save her. Hera the Falcon and her comrades hear the sounds of combat from the darkness ahead. A ghoul and a dreg dispatch the bats. The Wise Woman glows with Riggs Holy Fire, but it is too late for the tribe to overtake the cowards. Post Battle The Toss Their Hair Tribe was too late. The end of turn six arrived and the Purple Court had the Gubbin and were in no danger of breaking. Kara Third of Three dies, as does the Warrior Britta. Fortunately another patrol of Amazons happens along, and one of the Handmaidens of Rigg joins the Tribe. The Tribe find a keg of grog (inferior stuff but still good for drinking before a fight with Undead) and meet a Cheating Merchant in the jungle. The Toss Their Hair Tribe--1 CP All the ghouls taken out of action recover from their wounds. The Court gains the services of a grateful Pathfinder who tells them of a hidden valley where they can hunt Thunder Lizards... The Court takes their spoils back to civilization to trade. There they discover that the goblin's great treasure is only worth +1 experience to the ghouls who found it. The Purple Court--2 CP | |

| The Haunted WreckThe Wolfpack and the Suncrashas fight over salvage rights Photos by playtable Report by Andrew The boats are arrayed along the edges, three boats against five, long ways off. The Wolfpack had heard of a haunted ship, a run aground prize rich with treasure. Ghost stories can't scare those who are already dead, and so the Wolfpack made their way towards it. Da Orcs on da other hand? Dey just wanna propa scrap! The Undead begin to close in. The Undead make their approach under the threat of Orcish Dakka, making a fateful choice to send their vampire and his troops to engage the haunted ship's skeletons rather than be fired upon by Orcish Shootaz. Boats meet, the battle begins Waaaaaaagh! In general, the Suncrasha orcs absolutely maul the Wolfpack undead, who, not having their vampire fighting the orc ranks, have difficulty inflicting any wounds on the orcs. Only one orc runs out of wounds the entire battle, going out of action, while 8 undead are taken out of action and many more are knocked down (though we stopped making initiative tests to fall in the water once the flotilla of boats was so packed there was no place to put units in the water). The Wolfpack fails their second rout test, leaving the Suncrasha's to get the treasure at their leisure. Amazingly, no units die or suffer negative effects, even with 9 OoA. +3 CP for the Suncrasha's (1 from Leader Experience) +1 CP for the Wolfpack

| The SignpostConflict between the Druchi and the Toss Their Hair Tribe From the Saga of the Toss Their Hair Tribe On the fourteenth sun of the Moon of Hot Days the scouts of the Tribe did discover the Druchi encroaching on the Celestial Canopy. Freya the Serpent Priestess did send the Handmaiden of Penthesilea to signal her mistress. The Dread Champion arrived but not before darkness had fallen on the jungle. The Druchi naturally pressed on, coming dangerously close to the hidden Pillar of the Way. Freya feared that if the Druchi discovered the Pillar and unraveled its secrets the power of the Outlanders would become unstoppable.
The women of the Tribe rushed to intercept the evil ones.
Alas the scouts arrived too late to prevent the Druchi Shades from discovering the Pillar. To drive the invader away, the Tribe matched its might with the Outlanders. The Druchi's magic was strong. But the Power of the Canopy was stronger. The elfs were confounded at every turn. The Dark Winds blew weakly, their darts would not hurt, their blades would not bite. The very jungle reached out to snag their feet and ruin their plans. [THREE charging elfs trip and fall in one turn!] The Druchi lost two hench-elfs killed. A hero almost died, but after the use of a Medicine Chest, only suffered a hand injury. Defeat drives the elfs back to the Cheating Merchant, so they elect to wait to replace their losses. Kara, Two of Three is captured and joins the foul Cabal. Dark Elves of Naggaroth--1 CP Kara is captured and betrays the Tribe. The Tribe discovers an abandoned Outlander Temple and loots it. In addition a cache of the Hairy Men's fire water is discovered including a keg of Bugmans (of which the Tribe is fond). The Tribe trades at the Heart of Darkness. One warrior is hired to replace Kara and a Claw of the Old Ones is purchased for Hera the Falcon. The Toss Their Hair Tribe--2 CP

| Thanks Al! ______________________________________________________________________________________ Duel On The High SeasThe Suncrashas challenge the Court Report by Elijah The battle against the Black Orcs went better [than the fight against the elfs] and better than expected. The Court blasted the orcs with a cannon on the first turn, damaging their rudder. When we eventually closed I thought it was going to really bad for Frank Putrefaction, Neck Romancer, as he was charged by three orcs. He survived the first turn of combat and then cast Life Stealer on the orc boss, knocking the green gorilla on his rump and gaining himself a wound. Then he survived another round before we came up against the closing of the store and called it a draw. The orcs were broken, but I don't know what would have happened since they apparently get to reroll all of their rout tests. The Court captured a big ugly orc, but sold him back to his mates - he was too tough to make a decent meal. Baron Moore is pleased with his new hires - a dark elf assassin and an imperial assassin. The beggar that had been following the Court around and eating the scraps left by the ghouls got killed because we made him steer the ship while we hid from the orcs' arrows.
