| Thanks, folketsfiende...glad you like him. I'm making some noticeable progress on the Isles board. I installed a dead fall connection between Oozy Susie's & Crazy Mary's...Slimy George will be haunting the area underneath...lest someone should fall in & need rescuing.

| As the intro say, I've made a bit of progress on The Isles of Langerhans Board. There's still a lot to do...at least from my lazy point of view, but be that as it may, here's where we stand now: An Overview: I found this Oh-So-Cool Twig down near Pecan Creek; I'll try to get a better shot next time...it has all sorts of little holes & such. That aside it's now a dead tree connecting Oozy Suzy's Rock with Crazy Mary's Cay: The walkways & ladders between Crazy Mary's & The Stoned Hedge Isle: ...with the Many Eyed Tree of Ogling: AND the Dead Fall Bidge from Frag's Sacred Rock Bar & Grill to Stoned Hedge Isle: Now that I'm coming up to speed (for a Feeble Old Man that is) progress reports should come more frequently...or not. In the meantime your kind commentary would be most appreciated...mostly. | |

| Amazing board! Love those islands and the connectors with the wooden bridges. The vegetation is also spot on. Very realistic!
All looks terrific!
Will you be putting varnish over the stream of water at some stage?

A couple of layers of gloss over some water effects (for ripples) will follow the beds of reeds close to the shores. There will also be quite a few more walkways at various levels. It seems the more I do the more I want to add to the Beasty. | |

| Thanks MUCHO for all the kind comments, Guys! I'll try to have it closer to completion by this time next week. Then it's on to the adjoining Goblin Shanty Town, Eidelhans, & Graveyard; with Goblins liberal views on such things, there's no societal dividing lines between the Mostly Dead & the Mostly Living...other than the Mostly Dead being somewhat more focused. I still have a couple more Wood board to do & The Goblin Shanty City, Maudeheim proper, yet to finish. Then there's the matter of populating the places...I think a cold shower or a nap is in order here. | |

| Oh this is so cool! I'll be looking around these photos for days, or at least hours. Loving all the details, although now I want some denizens scattered about to give it that lived in feel. | |

| Thanks, Guys. I'm glad you like The Swamp so far. There are a few Regulars done up: Crazy Mary with her Cupids from HELL! & The Piranha Boys. There'll also be at least four Witches PLUS Goblins & Various Ne'er Do Wells...a Goblin Shanty Town will adjoin The Swamp. | |

| Thanks, Quase! Second helpings are a compliment to the chef; SO I take return viewings as the kindest of compliments. There's still some things to add & do with the Isles. I'll try to pick out details that aren't highlighted in previous photos with further posts. THEN on to the Shanty Town & Graveyard...etc... | |

| Thanks, MC! I may be doing some solo gaming on the Beasty. That would involve some narrating...so it depends on how literate I feel. | |

| Thanks, theomar. I'm delighted you like it...I'm starting to myself. I just finished a coat of gloss over the swamp water & spotted a couple of places for some more scaffolding. You might have noticed that, with a scenery piece, the more you do the more thingies you find to be done. | |
