| The first layer of gloss on the "water" has proved to be SO shiny that further layers are probably not necessary. That won't necessarily stop moi fro seeing how many layers I can do before screwing the whole thing up. Be that as it may, here is how the "water" looks through The Camera's uncooperative perspective: As always your kind comments would be appreciated...kind of. | |

| The water looks really cool (so does the rest of course, but hey, we're talking about the water here )! I don't think it's too shiny at all! | |

| The water looks suitably swampy. I encourage the additional coats just to see what else will appear as you apply them. Still if you felt like stopping now I wouldn't blame you, because it looks great on film! How's that for wishy-washy? | |

| Thanks, V.K.! It's always safe to hedge your bets when offering advice. I might add further coats if I add semi submerged objects/body parts/Mutant Beasties. First I think I'll knock out some Witches & other residents; add some signs, things lurking in the water & weeds, etc.. | |

| Thanks for the kind comments, JoaoS! I'm pretty happy with the swamp water effect myself; considering how critical I can be of my how creations, that's saying something. | |

| Great little detail. I love the direction the project is taking. Might I suggest some bulbous eyes lurking near, or not so near the tentacle? Or perhaps eye stalks? | |

| Thanks, V.K.! The Eye has possibilities. This side, for reference sake, will be the side adjoining the Goblin Shanty Town...another reason for the state of the water. | |

| It's the little details like this that give so much character to your dioramas. The tentacle coming out of the swimming hole really made me grin. Nice work nala! | |

| Thanks for the kind words, Spectre! Although I do get carried away with it all at times, I also think that the little details are what make a scene memorable. | |

| As the title says, I made some small progress with The Swamp; i.e., I added a suitably rickety bridge from The Three Sisters' to Stoned Hedge Isle & Tavern; AND a scaffold leading from Crazy Mary's to Frag's Rock. That should take care of the board other than adding some posters, flyers, vegetation...mutant or otherwise, & the Residents. As I finish the Guys & Gals around Town I'll post them...you might consider this advanced warning. NOW on to the photos: A Buzzard's eye view: The Three Sisters' Bridge: The Crazy Mary's Way to Frag's: Once more your kind comments are requested...more or less. | |

| That water really does look excellent, just the right color underneath to look sufficiently murky. | |
