| Greetings Deafnala. It's a long time since I've been on the forum, but it is nice to see that your sense of madness is still going strong! | |

| Brilliant stuff! Your level of detail is absolutely stunning, I especially love this colourful craziness and the overall topic of this scary/weird/strange faces that occurs all over your various pieces Keep it up! | |

| Thanks for the kind reply, Slannman! I'm happy you are enjoying The Project. I must admit it is the most fun I've had with the craft thus far. I'm painting & adding further details to the lower section before moving on to the upper floors. This may take awhile; SO I'll that closeups of the sections as I complete them. This may be the practical approach as some areas will be visible but difficult to get photos of once upper sections are installed. | |

| I'm definitely copying some of these pictures for inspiration to make my town slums. I love those street shots! Great atmosphere!

Joao Feel free to take any ideas that will work for you. If you need any how-to advice, I'd be delighted to pass it along. Right now I'm painting the lower level. Once that's done & some details added, I'll be able to start the upper sections...that's when things get exciting. - mweaver wrote:

I think the boards have potential; especially this one & The Graveyard. We'll have to arrange a test run sometime.

| SO now while The Camera is being relatively cooperative, The Light of Ott is falling apart. That aside, I will slowly put up another Tour of the Blight...this time in living color & guided by a few of Fast Flo's numerous nieces. A long shot: Evil Iris & Lily by H Putter's (under the stairs) place: Lucy & Lusty Lulu further down the street: I'll continue The Tour as I manage to get pics taken. In the interim, your kind comments would be most welcome. | |

| Fantastic! It looks worn-down and forgotten and at the same time incredibly alive with those colors. I can imagine it like a ruin city forgotten and then found again and people start moving back. Mind the ghosts! | |

Thanks, Din...glad you like it! Claustrophobic is the feel I was going for along with a certain uneasy, surreal look & a dose of silly. - floedebolle wrote:

Thanks, Ben. I'm still debating about stealing the tall tavern from the Smuggler Board, but that should be the look on the upper stories...I looking forward to it also. The photographic possibilities of the Blight Board are mind boggling; actually gaming on it & possible adjacent boards could be quite an experience...or not.

| Thanks, Fat Rat! The place will have a steam punky feel to it or, at least, I hope so. When my internet connection becomes vaguely normal again, I'll put up some closeups I've taken. | |

| Thanks, theomar! I'm glad you like it. I just did the first gloss on the green spots. They're taking on a nice slimy appearance. I took some closeup photos that I'll post once AT&T starts behaving again. | |

| With the Holiday Weekend gone, my AT&T link to the Internet seems to be back to normal such as that is. AND, that means more mediocre photos of The Blight to entertain, edify, or whatever. SO...without further ado: Evil Iris & Lili by Gaseous George's Place: ...& around the corner: ...Lucy & Lusty Lulu by the Alley: ...Lily at the other side of the Alley: ...the Bridge Street: ...Tower door: ...& other points of interest(?): Since the photos were taken, I've started doing a gloss finish on the slimy green sections of the street, got some mushrooms ready for planting, & such silliness. As thing develop, I'll add further awful photographic evidence to brighten your day. Until then, your comments would be appreciated. | |

| Thanks, VK! I can't imaging doing a piece/board without Mushrooms of various sizes & states of awareness. Some haunted/possessed Wanted Posters may be in the works along with all sorts of strange details. The Girls liked the compliment. | |

| Thanks, VK...I'm delighted you like the idea. The Guy on the right is the notorious scoundrel Burke "Bunny" Badenhopf (the real Burke Badenhopf is a relief pitcher for the Red Sox...I gave him the nickname). | |
