I REALLY, REALLY hope you are right. That it will be a GRAND OLD BATTLE REPORT with a group of Guys like the Flame-On Crew, who love the game, battling it out with armies they themselves painted in a spirit of camaraderie. The  side of me , however, thinks what it will be is the same games designers using the lovely, if somewhat unimaginative. studio armies in a cliche ridden narrative with "the winner saying "it was much closer than the points show" & the losers inevitable "it was not meant to be" ringing in my ears. | |
