| They aren't the biggest ones I have done, but they are a good, healthy size...for something that unhealthy looking that is. | |

| Thanks for the enthusiastic reply, Jim. I'm happy you like them. I have an open spot on the Spooky Woods Board I want to fill & a background woodsy thing I want to make for photos. SO I'll be doing some Trees along with the rest of the projects. | |

| My latest project is making short, narrow boards with for shortened backgrounds. These will serve as bridges between full sized boards, AND stages for photos, that latter being their main function. The first of the boards is a Mushroom Forest. Here is where it stands as of right now: ...the Mushroom in the middle ground: ... AND a hint at the creepiness to come: ...updates later...perhaps. | |

| Yes, the eyes suspended in the wall are really creepy. I like the texture of the mushroom caps. | |

Thanks, Codsticker. Some of the eyes will have disembodied faces that will blend in with the gloomy background tones. The texture of the caps is just an application of Woodland Scenic Foam Putty over the florist foam balls...it is a nice easily achieved effect. - Von Kurst wrote:

Thanks, Jim. I have hopes for the beasty. After this one I'll do either a Spooky Woods or, more likely, a back street connecting the Blight & Twisted Tower boards. | |

| This how things stood at the end of the yesterday. The first of the faces appeared: ...these will blend in with the background gloom except for the glowing eyes: ... AND the Twisty Mushrooms got some attention as well: ...seen here with his larger associate: ...more later...or not. | |

| Looking at those faces reminds me of the description of twisted faces frozen into the sides of the crater in the Mordheim rule book. | |
