Welcome ta Big Toof lad!  Come on in!  Mind da pig leavings dere!  And careful of dat troll vomit over dere!  Dat mess was a boar a bit ago, mind ye.  Da tusky git challenged Nameless, iffin ye can believe it! Ye sees how dat worked out fer him.  Nameless got an iffy gut, I tells ye true!

Oi!  Get down lad, yer drawin' fire!  I tink dats Orgruk's ladz, a course it could just as well be da White Gitz boyz.  Well no, it couldn't, arrows ye know?  Da White Gitz sez dey can't use no arrows. Have ye seen da White Git lad? Strangest ting, deys all white!  Even da choppas and daggers and stuff, white!  Odd I tell ye.  Swear one of da gitz had a bow, now I tink on it...Sez dey cain't be using bows though.  I suppose da git can CARRY one...

Ladz got strange bee-leafs, I tells ye.

Oh get up, dem boyz couldn't hit yer, if ye fell on da arrow.  Pitiful lot.  Dey sez dat a git got shot over by Dagga Hill, but if a git did get shot, I sez it was elfs!  Dis lot ain't hit nothin' since Ize gots here.  I been guardin' da gate all day.  Seen ladz shoot up a good bushel of arrows.  No blood.  From arrows dat iz.

A squig killt a git, one of dem Spottaz, other night.  Spotta was looking for snots, found him a squig instead.  Step careful after dark, ye hear!  Quite a few gitz been rubbed out.  All the tribes comin' together like dis, bound ta happen.  Iffin der anything left, da git goes in da stew.  We eat right reg'lar.

Big Toof is a greenskin town or at least a big camp.  Right there on the Big Toof River, north of old Khemri where the dead walk.  Big Toof is growing, for the time being anyway.  The drums say that the Great Green Proffit is going to call the Waagh!  The greatest Waagh ever is going to start right here in Big Toof, so the tribes are gathering from near and far.  The Bosses are each looking to build the strongest tribe, so that one of them will be chosen to lead all the tribes to plunder and glory.

A Seismic Ambush!
Right away Chris started with the surprise attacks! During an earthquake!  Two buildings collapsed (they were pretty much ruins to begin with...)
Nameless was surrounded and cut down.  (He got better.)


Smasha (who is hard to see in all that white) is attacked.


Smasha fled for his life (failed an all alone test).  Two orcs and a squig chased him, but Smasha is fleet of foot.

The Crew of the Gutrippa fled with Nameless out of action and Smasha run away.  

Cookie Wasis gains +1S.

A Snot Hunt
A Green variant of Pressgang in which the warbands try to capture snotlings to sell to Snagratz the Slaver.

Da Grey Tribe met the Da Big Sneaks.
A Squig runs amok in the Grey ranks.


Da Big Sneaks takes da heights (and da most snots).


As the Greys are taken apart by squigs and animosity, Da Sneaks snipe. (The Greys had two heroes taken out of action by a mad squig.  Then they suffered a Mutiny event, which increased their chance of animosity from a roll of a one to a roll of a one or two...)


The Greys may have lost a Spottaz to the squig.  Uma Gumma da Shaman is driven Mad.  He becomes stupid.  The Greys capture one squig and a couple of snots.

Grimnok Skullslayer , da Grey Boss, gains +1 WS.

A Street Brawl
Jordan, Chad and Kevin's warbands mix it up.

Now that's something new; i.e., a GorkaMorka Mordheim Campaign...COOL & IMAGINATIVE!  

I think the Greys are secret followers of Nurgle...the missing body parts are a give away.

Side story, Mr. L and I used to play Warhammer with a guy who liked to build fortresses for his armies.  He has an orcy fort, so I thought what the heck, I'll see if we can borrow it.  Turns out its like 3' of castle on a single base.  Not leaving his house every week for our campaign...

Midnight at da Big Toof Corral
So a long time ago Andy Tabor used to be part of our little Mordheim group here in Indianapolis.  I know we played his "Roundup at the Mordheim Corral" back then, but it has been awhile.  So the wyrdstone eating boars have moved to Big Toof...

Da Grey Tribe versus da Gutrippas

Something is up with the boar herd in Big Toof.  The beasts have been escaping their pens with ridiculous ease. Worse they been eating that funny green rock that sometimes falls out of the sky...The green rock makes them boars change.  There was one with a scorpion's stinger where the boar's tail ought to be.  Damn near killed Mad Uma Gumma, da Grey Tribe Shaman (well old Oogly is actually all white, but he's a Grey.  Big Toof fact).

A twisting of the air event makes the first turns a bit slower... Nameless kills a scaly skinned boar...


Da Gutrippas pass under a walkway... My warband is a bit eclectic, da Gutrippas suffered some damage while in storage.


Anyway, this boar all of a sudden mutates into a scorpion tailed horror.  Da Greys could not resist such a temptation and tried to capture it.  The mutant boar sends Uma Gumma and Grimnok Skullslayer out of action. The other boar catches an unlucky Spotta (Bob don't have any lucky Spottaz...) Add some amazingly bad animosity rolls and the Greys flee.

The boar Nameless killed yields three wyrdstone shards when butchered.  Cookie was able to capture an un-mutated boar that eventually provided one wyrdstone shard.  Exploration yields enough teef to count as income of LOTS.  Right off da Gutrippas buy two more Lucky Charms.
Yo'and da Nife gains the skill Ride Warboar.
Headtaker gains +1 A.
Smasha gains +1 Initiative.
Basha gains +1 S.

Da White Krew versus Da Big Sneaks

Dis here fight iz why its called Midnight at da Big Toof Corral.  It were dark see?  An even tho' the White Krew kinda glows inna dark, Da Sneaks couldna see 'em fer nothing.  Den da boars kinda wondered over to the glowy Krew, curious like.  And da Krew did dere Boar Whisperin' ting.  Captured all da boars, except dat onery one dey kilt.  Den da Krew beat up on Da Sneaks, an Da Sneaks legged it.

Da White Krew kill one out of three boars.  The other two are captured.


Da White Krew are beating up da Sneaks.  It don't look that way from the pic, but trust me on this.

Da White Krew (formally known as Da White Gitz) capture two boars who apparently mutated while being led away. One has a tentacle and the other has something else.  [I will probably regret allowing mutated boars to be fielded as mounts, but it sounds fun now.]

A Skirmish at the Corral
It was getting late, but Jordan had only gotten one game in.  So Bob volunteered to fight again.

The warbands rushed toward each other.


Those squigs caught another Spotta...Elsewhere the battle goes to the painted, too.


Snog da Spotta takes a hand injury.  I have forgotten what is wrong with the other Spotta, but each of the Grey heroes has an interesting injury,

A Big Un rolls Horrible Scars for Jordan's Noobz mob.  Jordan wins his first two Mordheim games.  The Grey Tribe lost all three fights...

Somehow the all Orc Games seem stranger than normal...not a bad thing from my perspective. GREAT REPORT/PHOTOS!

As far as I know there were no night battles this week.  This is possibly because Jordan and I didn't know how shooty Da Big Sneaks were...

According to rumor, this was one of those can't win for losing games.  Neither side claimed victory for different reasons.  Witnesses claim Zug's actually routed though.
Bob hints at an unspecified disaster in the post battle sequence.  Kevin reports a boy killed.

A Chance Encounter
Da Krew run into Da Roughbrawlas





The rich and mounted Krew apparently had a string of bad luck.  Four warriors go out of action before one of Da Roughbrawlas breaks a nail.  Da Krew flee.  
Da Roughbrawlas report a squid died.

Roundup at the Big Toof Corral
Da Roughbrawlas meet Da Wild Boyz (actually both spend the scenario chasing boars)

There were seven boars on the table at the start of the battle.  


Three of them lived through it.


Da Wild Boys captured two boars, one of whom has the mutation Hideous.  Da Roughbrawlas captured one un-mutated boar.  The amount of wyrdstone earned remains a tribal secret, but there was LOTS at stake.  (Last week we played the scenario wrong and only had D3+1 boars possible total... I might have to tweak the scenario a bit before our next meeting.)

Da Roughbrawlas broke.  A Big Un hates all enemy orcs.  A squig died.  Da Roughs found a jeweled sword and dagger in exploration.

Da Wild Boyz have dreams of a fully mounted warband, starting with at least one hero next week.  Da Wilds find 5gc in a lost pouch.

A Skirmish
Da Krew fight Zug's Ruffnekz

This battle featured the first appearance of the event Dork Pighugga, who is searching Big Toof for his lost piggy.  Da Krew happen to be riding two stolen piggies, so...
Still Zug is not one to let others win his fights for him.  So da Ruffnekz got beat up and fled.  A Ruffnek boy is reported killed.

Da Noobz, Da Gutrippas and Da Big Sneaks

Lef'tenant 'Uzi' Uzgob stamped his booted foot. Where had them miserable snagas got to? Run off probably. Serve those little bastids right if they run off into some one's stew pot! The Lef'tenant turned to starboard yet all he saw were unfamiliar, belligerent faces. Yes, the ruins were quaint, in the Latter Nekharan style. And the crude architecture of his homeland sprawled across the valley in a pleasingly haphazard manner. Still he could see no sign of the Dangling Squig Tavern. Nor could he see the miserable harbor for that matter. The disgruntled Nob squeezed past the famous statues of Gork and/or Mork and stepped toward the edge of the cliff for a better look about. He barely had time for a short yelp as the rock gave way and dumped him two spear lengths down slope.

The Lef'tenant landed well, for all his surprise. Wouldn't do to show the fool in front of the natives, wot? Of course now he was truly lost for he could see nothing but the cliff face rearing above him and the gods' faces leering down...Most embarrassing. There seemed to be a different tenor to the general roar of the place. Several voices were shouting. 'Uzi' couldn't quite make out the words. Roar of cannon and all that, you know. Perhaps those snaga gits had remembered their duty. Several large personages were pointing at him. None looked familiar, but they were all armed...That huge fellow was a troll, sure as you're born. 'Uzi' had served with trolls, uncomfortable fellows. Loud though.

Some Sneaks, sneakin'. This is right before the infamous 'cheap rope' debacle.


Rope broke. The body of Horney-Head has been removed already. I'm not sure of the identity of the stunned fellow.


The Noobs were to the south. These squigs are too close to Nameless.


Gnasha attacks the Noob's Silver Boss.

Cookie does for the Silver Boss, while Smasha distracts the Silver Shaman, Tym.
Gnasha has a nap.

Big fight! (Dats Yo'and on hiz new boar.) Eventually all of the Noobz pictured will go out of action, but it takes a while...


Da Noobz flee with eight warriors out of action. A Big Un gets captured. Tym was killed by the new boar...

Once poor 'Uzi' got shot in the back, Da Gutrippas gave it up as a bad job. Smasha was kilt by Tym, wot iz now a ded un, too. Headtaker got better. The Big Un was relieved of his nice crossbow and sent back to Da Noobz.

Kap'n Arrgberg gains +1 Initiative.
Cookie Wassis gains the spell Ger'off.
Gnasha gains +1 BS.

Da Big Sneaks win. Of course Boss Face Ripper shot 'Uzi' in the back, so there was no reward from da Adm'url.
Da Sneaks had two models out of action, both went out of action due to attacks by their own side or 'accident'...

So dere was dis scrap twixt da Gutrippas and da Roughbrawlas.  Da ladz was mixin' it up pretty good when dis big ol' spida crawl out o' da hills.  Spida git jumped dat Nameless troll git dat hangs wit da Gutrippas.  Da Roughbrawlas took da op-or-tune-tee ta legs it.  Nameless ate da spida.  Da Roughbrawlas report loss of two squigs. Nameless sez, "Buuurrp!"

Regbee da Blabba sez dat da git known as da Bat Loon was seen flappin' around over by da Red Eyed Gitz camp over on Northbank.  Folks iz ad-vised ta look up before crossing open spaces and such.  Do not leave food unattended on roofs.  A few squigs wuz reported kilt up dat way, so keep da pets safe.  Da Bat Loon iz said ta be hangin' with da Roughbrawlas branch o' Da Red Eyed Gitz.

Its gots real hot today on Southbank.  Gitz scrappin' could hardly lift da choppas, it so hot.  Some gitz pass out inna street, get trampled by boars.  Dis Spottaz git, Snog, got so duppy, walks off tower.  Splat!

Da Boss o' da Krew and Da Boss o' dem Wild Boyz had what da hummies call "jowst", right dere inna street.  Dust and pig leavin's everywhere.  Dem Wild Boyz gived up.  Too hot.  Some gitz might've be rubbed out.  Too hot to check.

There is something truly entertaining about the Orc rumbles AND the scenery is UBERCOOL! 

I love this campaign. It's great to see the orcs take center stage. It brings back fond memories of Gorkamorka.

Da Great Green Proffet Visits Big Toof
Wurrzag Ud Ura Zahubu, da Great Green Proffet, wuz seen riding through Southbank.  Da Proffet wuz wearin' his flash mask, an' hiz boar Spleenrippa wuz freshly painted in da best warpaint. Da Proffet sez he's lookin' fer da One True Git. Ins Big Toof!  Da ladz wuz so stonked by da honor dat two of da Krew wuz reported kilt.  Da Gutrippas report Nameless trampled by boars ('e got betta). Another git wuz sold inta slavery an' in honor of da Proffet, da priz-nerz (but not da slaves) wuz ree-leased!  A proud sun fer da Big Toof, ya!

Nameless and Yo'and Da Nife fail to assassinate a Krew hero.  The counter charge tramples Nameless into the grassy street.


Kap'un Arrgberg spreads his arms in disgust as Nameless is ridden down.

Da Big Sneaks Cut Down to Size

Dat big troll what's called Toll Troll ran amok in Westbank.  Da Big Sneaks report four or five wounded by the big git what hangs wit Zug's Ruffnekz.  Da Sneaks sez dat dat no good cheat Slimy Slippa sold 'em rubba arras.  A course no one wuz kilt by Toll Troll. So no harm, no chicken, like dey sez. Ta show 'em who's da boss, da Sneaks bought some fire arras from Slimy afta da battle.  Half price!  Good dealz!

Lobba Stole off da Northbank Wall

Some gitz stole a rock lobba off da wall on Northbank!  Just bashed some other gitz and picked it up and left. Da Noobz sez dey was tryin' ta stop da theefs, but dat troll was too hard. Other gitz sez da Noobz woulda stole da lobba, but somebody beat 'em to it! Zug (Boss of Zug's Ruffnekz) sez dat lobba iz hiz, an it alwayz wuz hiz!  Zug sez hiz gitz just move da lobba ta a better po-zi-sion for da dee-fence of da town.  Some gitz sez Zug now gots lotsa teef!  Sez Zug da one in a betta po-zi-sion!

Da Noobz got there first!

Snagratz da Slava iz buyin’ up da Snotz.  No one knowz da why of it, but Da Snag iz buyin’ any an all snotlings as wot iz still breathin'. Da best places to hunt iz around da Brewhouses, where da li'l gitz are too blasted with fungus brew to ta sees ye comin’. Da Snot Trade gots da boyz lathered up.  Gobbos an' squigs gits caught up in da roundups, an' gitz gittin' rubbed out reg'lar.  Jus' da other night Nameless and Cookie Wassis both got rid down by dem Krew boar boyz.  Nameless is fine as frog's hair, but da Cookie be slow ta mend, like. Rumor sez da Cookie he no right in head no more. Da Headtaker iz out with a bum leg, too. Da Big Sneaks iz rumored ta be mixed up in da Trade too, but dey Sneaks, so who gonna know?

Da big rumble. Da Big Sneaks come at it from da south.


Da Nameless gets ridden down again.  No regeneration at all.  So Headtaker, Too Clubz and Cookie attack da Krew Boss. (Unfortunately they brought da rubba choppas...)

Mad Boars Run Wild
Da boar herd inna Big Toof iz sufferin' thru da worst case a Mad Boar disease inna dis scribbla's life. Ain't seen nothin' ta beat it. Boars runnin' wild all over da place. Dem dat looks inta pig leavin's sez it dem duppy green stones. So stop feedin' da boars da duppy stones! Yeah it make 'em tougher! But da zoggin' fings break out inna ten-a-cales an' choke yer butt!
It no help when bands like Da Krew ride around on da scary, duppy boars. After scraps wit Da Big Sneaks an' Zug'z Ruffnekz, Da Krew iz re-ported to be fully mounted on da gribbly pigs ('cept fer dat weedy gobbo da Krew treat special 'cause he blow fings up.)

In different fights da Krew grabbed 2 boars. One wit da scaly skin(dey had more boars rounded up, but da boars got away when da Krew scampered). Da Big Sneaks kilt 2 boars fer 4 of them duppy green stones. Da Ruffnekz sez dey sellin' a boar, an got green stones ta trade, too. Da Boar Wars kilt da Goof, Li'l Snott an' a couple o' Ruffnekz.

Gitz iz just takin' stuff!  Dere wuz a scrap over by da Westwall.  Da Gutrippas an' da Ruffbrawlaz mixin' it up.  Afta da mess wuz clean back up (blood ever'where), it wuz noticed dat da rock lobba dat use ta guard Westgate wuz gone!  Dem gitz!  Kap'un Arrgberg sez dat da murderin' Ruffbrawlaz done took da lobba. Boss Pain'ton Man Eat sez dat he never took nuthin'!  Dat lobba been in hiz tribe since da Last Waagh, (Dun Gee's Waagh, Ize tink dat wuz).  Da Ruffbrawlaz just keepin' it safe from da theivin' Gutrippas what takes ever'fing!
