I think Foot has got a good excuse too, as the Necro really fits the unique style of his own Undead best and probably wouldn't mix so well with other warbands. However, he certainly doesn't have an excuse why not to send his entire warband to Tom!

I should probably clarify the situation before speculation taints reality.

Many moons ago, Matt politely inquired about the possibility of me constructing a Magister. I gladly agreed to take on the project. The model turned out reasonable well, so I decided to enter it in the Golden Tom Painting competition. I then made Matt wait until the results were posted to reveal the Magister. (Sorry Matt)

So you see, the Magister was intended for Matt long before the Golden Tom.
Although, if anyone else is inspired to give away their entries, I'd like to call dibs on Jacky Boy's stuff.

WHAT!? YOU are saying sorry to ME!? for this awesome model!? I wouldn't even mind if I had to wait a life time on it! it's still in the little transparent box it came in, in my showcase, cause I'm so affraid I'll break it :S

btw, i've played two games with him till now, 2 times routed in the 3rd turn

I'm sorry to hear about the routs. Are these one off games or campaign games? If it's the latter, I'd be happy to give some tactical advice. (though we may want to move the conversation to the tactical thread)

@Underbheit: I'm glad they were both off games, I played versus a HORDE of Amazones, the casts didn't go very well, and my lil' mutant killed itself with falling TWICE
and, last but not least, both times my magister was stunned so I had to use my possessed his leadership (7 )

so yeah, i wasn't very lucky

It's no trouble really. I've enjoyed the project & I know you will enjoy it as well when it's finished.
