| Hi there, Been to ling since the last time I posted and I have to say I missed this nice forum. Anyway I wanted to post my Dwarfs that won a campaign we played last year and I'm gonna try and get my mates for a rematch if they are up for it I'm not the best picture taker but I hope this will do. If you guys want some more shots of individual models just ask and I will deliver The hero's (I painted the Slayers with yellow hair cause I wanted to have my whole warband the colors of my football club and that is green and yellow I did the same with my Black Orcs who are posted on this forum ) The close combat group. The model on the left in brown is a hired sword Dwarf Ranger. He is the only model in a different color cause a Ranger is from the woods that is why he is in brown. And the range department I can't outrun you but you try outrun a crossbow Enjoy!!! | |

| WELCOME BACK, Vissah! Your Vertically Challenged Band turned out TERRIFIC! I like your color choices & the brushwork is GREAT. VERY WELL DONE! As another Guy who is less than a professional photographer, I think the photos turned out very nicely...good enough to show off the nice brushwork & details, but not so high definition as to highlight the little faults. Some individual pics would be cool if you are up to it. | |

| @Deafnale here are some individual pics of my heroes. The rest of the warband are just hammer wielding and crossbow shooting Dwarfs that are nothing special and are shown on the pics above. The Noble He ended up with two Dwarf Axes, Gromril armour and lots of stats that were higher and skills. The Engineer He ended up a shooting expert with ofcourse a crossbow and a hammer The Troll Slayers They ended up with two Dwarf Axes and a couple skills and upgrades but also the occasional wounds that you might expect from a Slayer. I threw them into the thickest fighting I could find and let them also fight a Troll that in a dual charge got killed by them after a couple rounds of fighting | |

| COOL PHOTO! Minis always look their best in a natural setting...& visa versa. There are quite a few Fluff Freaks here. Fluff adds a lot to the character of a War Band/Hero in Miniature just as placing them in some scenery does. SO, if you feel like it, go ahead & add some background to the Band. | |

| Yeah slanessh figures are more twisted, but they are still figures, toys.
I can see how younger or female members of the forum could find that image offensive.... but besides that moving images grab the eye far more than static ones and should someone walk past me at work... I really woulden't want them to get the wrong impression!! lol | |

| This is the little fluff that we had to write for the campaign we played last year. Don't know if you guys like reading it cause it is not writen the best, I'm no writer, and English is not my first language. BUt I hope some of you enjoy it, it is not meant to be taken to serious Panzerfausts The Dwars from the clan called the Pazerfausts are a greedy bunch. Comin from a small but rich Karak they prefer a way of life that costs a lot of gold. Plenty of gold is found in the Karak of the Pazerfausts and showing off wit hall there gold is what they love doing most. One day doom came to their Karak. Going into the mines they saw that there was no more gold to be found. Being dumbstruck and not knowing what to do they kept going with their old ways of drinkin and showing off with all there gold knowing one day they will be out of gold. Years gone by and gold was spend all over the place. Seeing the faults go empty little by little but not paying attention to it they were doomed to end up with no gold to show off anymore. With their lust for gold the Panzerfausts did not notice they were digging to deep into the mountain and one day out of the mines came a green horde of Goblins numbering in the thousands. Hearing the noise coming out of the mines the Panzerfausts quickly got there weapons and armour and formed a line of defense in front the entrance of the mines. Lines upon lines of Panzerfausts stood ready, clad in heavy armour, holding a great wall of shields, axes and hammers held ready. ‘Show them no mercy cause you will not receive any back’ cried the Adolf the Noble of the Pazerfausts. Josepf the Master Engineer of the Panzerfausts took the higher ground with his Thunderers and started to concentrate crossbow fire into the mines. Screams of pain and cries of agony came from the mines. Finally the enemy, a horde of Goblins showed themselves and without caring about their own lives crashed straight into the shields of the waiting Panzerfausts. The Goblins died by the dozens but for every Goblin taken down ten more took his place. Concentrated crossbow fire did not slow them down and the situation was looking hopeless for the Panzerfausts. After hours of battle Adolf decided to pull back with the remaining Panzerfausts to there small fortres and make the Goblins pay for sieging it. Before they could take positions in their fortres the gate was breached by a giant, ugly but strong cavetroll. Adolf and Joseph stood in the inner circle of their fortress and they knew there was only one thing they could do. They gathered the survivers and their families and took the last way out of there Karak. When fleeing there Karak they looked back to what was once theirs. The Goblins stopped pursuing the Panzerfausts so they could sack their newly conquered Karak. Adolf and his Panzerfausts made way for Karaz-a-Karak. Hoping they are welcomed by Thorgrim Grudgebearer as one of his own so that they could keep going with their lives behind the save walls of his great Karak. They marched for weeks untill they heard some weird rumour from one the the Panzerfausts that went out of the mountains to scout the outside. Some city called Mordheim was supposed to be full of gold. The city was rumoured to be in ruins and carried the name Mordheim but the prospect of gold was something the Adolf and his Dwarfs could not resist. Being the greedy bastards that they are, cheering went through the ranks of the Panzersfausts and Adolf took his best friends and fighters to go to the city of Mordheim. Sending the rest of the Panzerfausts to Karaz-a-Karaz he told them that he will return tot hem with lots of gold to spend in Karaz-a-Karak. ‘Of to Mordheim we go’ shouted Adolf and he was answered by the cheers of his best friends and bravest warriors. Heroes Adolf – Noble of the panzerfausts All he wants to do is bring back the glory and riches that he once had in his old Karak. Now he just needs to get his Panzerfausts to Karaz-a-Karak but the attraction of all that gold to be found in Mordheim is just too much to pass on for him. Joseph – Engineer Adolf his longtime friend he will follow him wherever he go. Taking care of the range weapons of the Panzerfausts he is one of the most important members of the Panzerfausts. Hermann and Heinrich – Slayers Taken the Slayer oath right after the loss of their friends, family and Karak. Not being able to hold of the greenskins is a shame they cannot handle and because of it they seek death in combat. They dyed their hair not the standard orange but yellow/gold in honor of all the gold they lost. Henchmen Tjeerd, Fritz, Ernst, Josef – Clansmen Loyal to Adolf they will follow him everywhere. Acting as his bodyguards they do not back away from a fight and where there is gold there will be a fight. Rudolf, Albert, Karl, Hans, Erwin – Thunderers Being led by Joseph the Engineer they admire his presence and favour him for making there deadly crossbows even more dealier. Anton – Pathfinder Send out by Adolf to scout the outsides of the mountains they travel towards Karaz-a-Karak. Anton is responsible for finding the city called Mordheim and bringing a possible future full of gold back to the Panzerfausts. On the down side, he left after he told Adolf about Mordheim and since then Adolf is still looking to find his old friend and mentor back. | |

| You did a FINEob relating the sad tale of the Pazerfausts...more so since you did it in a language not your own. The background enhances the minis as a good story should. WELL DONE! | |
