The Gangs of Maudeheim, Part I 01/06/19

Earlier this week I finished a Pumpkin Head for our Fellow Reaper Forumite, knarthex aka George. This was a special Drow style piece; re, George is a part time Drow.
Well...it got there safely today. SO here's what a Drow  O'Lantern looks like:

For those into parts: the head is a Reaper Jack O'Lantern
The body is a G.W. (out of production) plastic Night Goblin
The arms are G.W. plastic Goblin, legs are G.W. Empire Militia
AND some green stuff on the hood.

One of the Pumpkin Head Gangs I made had Gauntfield renamed in your honor. That one went off to SerialMoM in Hesse. SO with Gauntfield heading up a new Mob, your name gets called up for sinister service once more...hope you don't mind.

...there is a West Wind Gypsy Vardo awaiting assembly & basing, but that is for another day. All in all not a shabby day's work.  

Oh man those witch hunters are sweet! Great looking stuff as usual. I love the texture you get on those pumpkins!

I have hordes of minis based, primed, & ready to paint. Then there all those lurking in their blister packs & clam shells. With a jolt of energy, I could fill a few good sized display cases with them all.  

After a drop, a fix, & a touch up, the first of the Witch's Hunters is done:

...barring any further disasters, I may get some more work done. The Blunderbuss is the next probable.  

Today was one of those "set-things-right" days. When everything was back more or less as it should be, I started doing another Von Kurst style Pumpkin Guy. This time I took photos as I did the conversion/assembly work.

...the next step is to mount him on his base, & do a shoe extension for the Clown Feet look that has become SO chic with Pumpkin Heads this season.

I have the bases on these two done & I'm working on the Pumpkins.  

Just when you thought the pumpkin specialties were gone for the season...

As something to eat, I'm not a pumpkin fan at all...a pumpkin latte would cause a gag reactions with moi. 
A Pumpkin Special I'd like would feature Linus saying: "on Halloween the Great Pumpkin rises from the sincerest Pumpkin Patch, Charlie Brown; & AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH!", followed by a splash of gore on the camera lens.
