As part of my denial (a River in Egypt) of Cruel Reality, I was motivated to finish the Rider part of the competed Thunder Chicken:

You made an excelent choice using it with this model, Thunder Chicken is a total badass and the paint scheme of the avian is awesome. It seems familiar to me, I´m not sure where I have seen it before, maybe is a combination of colors that complement well with each other, and by that reason is usual to see them together.

PD: Maybe on some parrots (or some kind of feathered dragon in Monster Hunter)

I got the idea for the colors from some Wyrd Gremlin Chicken Riders that I saw on C.M.o.N..  

I took this mini out of the display cabinet to make room for Thunder Chicken. I had gotten the miniature from a WAMP Fellow awhile ago. It was an ugly piece; SO I based it & "improved" it by adding eyes to the skull on the staff..."improve" & "silly" being synonymous to my mind, such as it is. Then it sat.
Well...I'm starting to populate The Blight. A Underworld Crime Lord would fit right in. In this case the Underworld was the sewer system...a perfect locale for his Ugliness. AND now I have him underway.

..if things go to plan, there should be more tomorrow...that wasn't meant as a threat or warning...honest.

One of the great things about photos, if you can take criticism, is that they point out mistakes. They highlighted the garish red/whit of the sores & a couple of sspots that need a touch up. SO, a few new photos of the results:

Thanks, Jim...glad you like it. It is a sad commentary on the quality of the miniature when it's strong point is a goofy skull made goofier with some google eyes.  

SO I had a run of irritated Mushrooms when I stumbled on the ticked off looking Druid & his long suffering Frog associate cum mode of transportation. They seemed to belong together:

...this duet of Mushroom is the most cheerful of the six or so I made. The Grumpier Group may soon be found under the Twisted Tower's garderobe...it would explain the attitude.  

Looking forward to color on the druid/frog. Who makes that?

The Druid & Frog are Reaper's 03226 Paraway Ambercane (hate the twinky names), Gnome Druid. It is a pretty neat mini.

A prime example of a lack of focus. I really should be finishing the Druid & Frog...or one of the other things I have under way, but I wound up doing a conversion of a Vulture Guy a Fellow L.A.Fer, ZeroTwentythree, made & sent me. He had added the Morheim accessory lantern to his. SO while I was copying that, I made a bell for him. Now he's the Town Cryer...kind of:



 




...it's a form of "OH SHINIES!"...sort of.  

I simply love your crazy colourful characters. Thrre is so much passion in them!
