Thanks, Jim! The Path Finder Guys are quite different than the G.W. variety or the other Reaper types for that matter...they do seem to work well with the fungal environment...the singing can be distracting at times. They are pretty cool & their expressive faces really add to the enjoyment of painting them. I'm hoping for some small group photos by the weekend...I'd love to have all ten done, but I don't want to rush/may not be capable of pulling that one off.  

I finished five of the sly Goblin faces & all the metalwork...

The basing makes the mini into a diorama. Its always a pleasure to see what you have come up with next.

Thanks, Jim. Since I don't really game, the fancy bases aren't threatened by in action damage, but they are still small enough to use should the occasion arise. The Girls are quite tall; SO they could sub for a Possessed or maybe an Ogre... a Prissy Ogre.

The little guy with the whip is not a favorite sculpt, but you have made him look presentable (and the 'shrooms definitely add to the model's appeal.)

Thanks, Jim, Actually its the little Girl with the whip, but, as you said, there is something lacking in the sculpt.  

Oh that's a gal... Hmmm. I thought it was just odd fashion choices. Doh!

It's just a couple of physical features, apparel, & the hair that give her away. Otherwise she's about as feminine as most G.W. females.

Thanks, folketsfiende; it's good to see you are still with us also. I think my stuff has grown progressively stranger over the years...I'll take any form of improvement I can.  

SO the first minis of '16 are a Trio of Mites (Reaper) all painted up & ready to make like miserable for Visiting Adventures in Cavern Gray Scale:

Mites? I missed those. They look great with mushrooms. Many things do now that I think about it. Had steak and mushrooms earlier...

I like the way the green area looks like a spot light shining on the showcased minis.

Thanks, Jim. The green glow has gotten a few nice comments. Beyond their uses as models mushroomsare wonderful culinary things...mine are more who eats who.
Since I've mostly played solo over the last dozen or so years, the Wandering Monster types have opened up a World of minis that would normally not work or be used in Mordheim. Now a days, the Wandering types don't wander anymore.  

SO I made some small progress with the PathFinder Goblins...finished faces/flesh tones & torches:


Then one of the Folk on Reaper's Forum posted Racquel Blackrose; AND I had to find the one I had lurking in The Vault to base & prime:


...while I was at it & in the throes of Pirate mania, I figured I might as well organize the unpainte Pirates I had kicking around...maybe get a couple ready to paint:






I still have a few more Living Impaired Swashbucklers to base...when the bases arrive from Reaper...I ran out. SO a new distraction. AAAARRRGGH!  

Arrrgh! Ahoy! And other nautical words.

Thanks for the kind reply, Vil le Move! I'm delighted you like the stuff. The various Pirates should start showing up in full color soon. I'm planning on taking some new photos of my old Pirates to fill the gap...& to post them on a couple of other Fora.  

I am looking forward to seeing the painted models too.
