| by the way, the red clay you used to put in between the "gefache", is it the air drying clay made by boesner? _________________ Lord Flasheart: And always remember - if you want something, take it! | I haven't painted any buildings yet, but for larger pieces I also find that the combination of washes and drybrushing helpful. Usually I only wash about 2/3 of the area, and drybrush about 2/3, which leads to about 1/6 with neither, 1/6 with just wash, 1/6 with just drybrush, and 1/2 with both layered on each other. | |

| Thank you for your comments and help. And please excuse the late reply. @Von Kurst So i am on the right track? " Drybrushing, wash, drybrushing, wash, until satisfied." Ok, but the last step ("until satisfied"), I still difficult. I have seen your house. At first I thought, yes absolutely ok. But after some time it always liked me better. Not spectacular. A simple house. But it is precisely these simplicity, with this painting make it perfect. Damn. Really good! Perhaps a little vegetation... @floedebolle yes that is air-drying clay. Creall Do & Dry modeling mass of Havo (NL). Perhaps you know "NANU NANA"? 500g/ € 1.95. @noisy assassin My english is not the best. What the translator has given me is also not easy to understand. But i think i got it! Thank you. In the house there is little progress. Much plaster-carving. And buiding molds. I got my first 28mm character painted! The Grandmother from reaper. Other are in work. Then I was built a marble track for my daughter. And the planning for the next project. Which up until the end of January must be completed. Pictures i will show later. | |

| I have pictures of my "Wizard Tower" in the "VK" (Russian Social Network) was discovered. There I have some pages viewed. What the guys build (I think with CNC milling machine) is really fantastic. Watch it! http://vk.com/club62522447 | |

| I LOVE it. It's a WONDERFULLY WHIMSICAL structure. All the interesting angles, & the slant & curve of the roof give it character & a personality all its own. There's so much to inspire & steal. FANTASTIC START! | |

| Thanks. I'm not sure, wich color I use for the cap. At the moment it is grey with silver. I think it's better to make in brighter then the roof. What you mean? | |

| I'm a brighter is better Guy. The cap would look cool in copper, either shiny metallic or verdigris green..I associate metal roofing pieces with copper. | |

| Many thanks! I shall do my best. From the idea up to this point are some weeks ago. There is also something to do. Today I started to sow the seeds of grass. And paper with coffee to aging and glued to the right side. This is the last pics for this year. I think that we can now see what it is. A witches cook book for my sister's birthday. Ok, a cookery book with only one recipe. I wish you a happy new Year! | |
