| The new foliage adds to the ramshackle chic of the place & looks TERRIFIC. I am curious to see what you do with the blank page of The Book...this is a fascinating thread to follow. | |

| I have seen the last images are 3 weeks old. But first I would like to say thank you. In the last few days, I have a few things changed. The color of the roof and the boards. This has been quite a lot of time. I was not satisfied. Too dark, then to little contrasts, then already light, but the color is not liked me. The problem is the light. I do not have the correct lamps. Difficult were also the pages of the book on the left hand side. I have the paper in coffee for aging. When taking out and during the drying are me some broken. But I had some more to test. The upper side I glued on plastic foil in order to make it harder. The tree in front of the house is a little foliage. It is blocking the view to the house. So I have a tree completely newly built. More vegetation. The fence was also newly painted. For the book I had plywood used. And the thing pleased me not so good. I had some wallpaper found and stuck to the plywood. The looks better. And red is ok. The chimneys and the top of the tower, I also had new paint. The painting of the roof i was not careful enough. It took a lot of time. The witch is also done and must be placed. The upper side of the book and the bookmark must glue. Tomorrow is my sister's birthday. Done! | |

| That is GORGEOUS! Building Book, & Witch are BREAUTIFULLY WELL DONE! I'm sure your Sister will be thrilled with it. Too bad about the foot. A plastic Goblin or Night Goblin would have a foot about right for a replacement...if we lived closer I could give you one. | |

| Many thanks, guys! All lengths, which I have in the head are incorrect. I have a completely new start. Most of the things I use are now too large. The search starts from the beginning. | |

| The tower is part 2 of a wonderful diorama of a German artist. I am very proud that he is so much trust in me. And I can build a part of it. But I will only build the tower. He makes the painting itself. I had some gypsum blocks. In this I cut the stairs with a saw and gluing the individual parts to put on the floor height. Of course they must still be processed. Stones and structure are still missing. A needle and a wire brush I used. In a circle segment of 30° I carve paving stones, shaped and the whole again with latex milk fully molded. After endless days of casting I had enough bottom plates. Then they I could with minimal post-processing on the middle floor glueing. The joints will be filled, after them I carve the stones. The last picture shows the Pirate diorama part I. Take a look at this site and the wonderful painted minis in scale 1:72! http://vogtemichelsminiaturen.blogspot.de/ | |

| Yes, Michael is an artist, especially in the small figures. I know of nothing better in this size. And I have the honor to work for him. This makes me proud! Some of the walls can be seen from both sides. I have here the stones carved. Unfortunately there is a difference to the cast walls. (Pic1) I have the joints still processed once again. The result is better. (Pic2) On the stairs I have made mistakes. This i with the small stones hidden. It was a good idea, I think.(Pic3) | |
