| FANTASTIC once more! It's all the extra touches that make a terrain piece interesting & add to that interest as each is discovered over time. BEAUTIFULLY WELL DONE! | |

| Really, really nice Ingo! I love the details! I have been thinking about your lately question about the lighting. Today I have tried something that might be useful for all you gamers who want to add light effects to their buildings. Made a little lit and flaming torch. There are those LEDs that have a little built-in circuit that cause the light to flicker without the need of an external circuit. Those work perfect for a torch. I will try to make photos soon and open a new thread about it within the next few days.

| Thank you very much! Yes, DeafNala. I think the little things very important. Then the house is not so "naked". Characters are missing. Christian, thank you. But that is exactly what is hard for me. Singollo, what do you think? I have electric tea lights. It flickers. But it is always only 1 lamp. | |

| Yes Ingo, those tea lights contain the same LEDs - at least mostly. Sometimes they have an external circuit for the flickering. Just remove the white candle-flame shaped cap and you will have the LED accessible. The base with the button-size battery is a bit big though. A bit of soldering with an extension with tiny wires would help to store this battery in a hidden place though. | |

| Hello! For some time I build a new house. The system and the details of hirs tart I find very good. I bought a mold. Then many, many stones are poured. I wanted to use for the basement. Then I was a bit disappointed. I do not mind that it costs so much time. Also the result fails to convince me. The stones are sitting to accurate. And the structure is very little. Each joint is to be seen. A lot of work to correct it. But plaster is a great material. It is very easy to paint it effectively. But I think dry brush is for me the wrong way. This is a painting test. I rebuild it with a wirebrush. I will paint it in one piece. | |

| Thank you very much. The roof... I built a tool, how to make cookies. Modeling mass roll out. Then the parts make with the tool. On the stick rolls and leave to dry. And stick to the roof. More than 1300 times... In the painting of the roof for the first time I used oilpaint. There is something gloss. There are still missing a few nuances. | |

| Thank you, thank you. The roof is not difficult. Only a matter of time. I have my house long viewed. I think the masonry and the upper tray plant do not harmonize. I will make 2houses. | |

| Thanks for the comments. To find the correct colors (to mix) is difficult for me. The roof has not liked me. It did not fit to the plaster and timber. Newly painted again. Now is much to red. All new primed and again from the beginning. In plaster and timber-framed the same. 3times completely painted. Including lower floor. Now I like it. With the new lower floor I have completely changed the floor plan. Above have additional tray plant was built. The foundation i cast in plaster. It is almost finished. | |

| Many thanks! But too much praise. Oh, when painting I have cursed. My best brush broken. The problem is the work with washes. For example, the plaster. Wash over the entire surface. It is too dark. With a bit of dry brushing is the wash away again. Then I made only to specific locations. Already a little better. But not satisfied. Do you used washes in buildings& terrain? How do you do that? | |

But not satisfied. Do you used washes in buildings& terrain? How do you do that? Again I feel your pain. I use watered down inks (Rotring inks are the best), or watered down Liquitex acrylics. The building below is what I consider my best so far. (It looks better than the photo.) But basically your process sounds very familiar. Dry brushing, wash, dry brushing, wash, until satisfied. | |
