NORSE EXPLORERS of HELGRAND!!!

Hey all, here is my first fully painted Mord warband.. using the BTB expansion rules. I play with theycallmejosh and his labyrinth up in Canada. I am drawn to epic beards.. and axes.. so naturally,  after a stint with Dwarves, the Norse were my calling.

The pictures and lighting seem to really bring out the matte spray I used.. they aren't as shiny. Feedback would be great.




Jarl Magnus the Axe. Slight modifications to an Avatars of War hero, I modelled the shield entirely with green stuff.




Bergenar the Ulfenwerenar. Reaper werewolf model.




My stalwart beserkers, brothers Filli and Killi. Avatars of War barbarian hero and a converted Harlequin model as well. The harlequin model was fully bald, and I figured I'd model him a huge swath of woad-dyed hair and beard so he'd match his brother.




Astrid and Olaf, the bondsfolk. Astrid is a sweet sculpt from Red Box, and I can't remember where I got the viking w. axe. but he works.




Three maurauders, mix of old Fantasy, Harlequin and Mord box sets.



Three hunters with bows. Mordheim box converts plus a brettonian with a head swap.

That is a WONDERFUL way of introducing yourself. The minis are SPLENDIDLY diverse, & a BEAUTIFULLY painted Band of Rogues. VERY WELL DONE!

Very nice. Very impressive with the shield being out of green stuff. Hehehe the shirtless guy holding his Axe with both hands looks like Conan. Great work.
