Norse Explorers

I have some miniatures with an egyptian style that wait from years, so I considered to how use them. So i decided to create a new warband, an ally that I could use with my usual Marauders of Chaos warband. I chose a Norse Explorer warband, because it's fine for the models I yet have and nice with the rules.

So, here the first miniature I painted, the "Jarl", here like a female High Priestess of Harakhte (Tzeentch).
Next miniature I'm painting will be two bondsmen, that will be two female acolytes of Harakhte.

Your High Priestess is a BEAUTY...GREAT brushwork on a VERY COOL mini. VERY WELL DONE!   
Watching the War Band develop is going to be a treat. Keep up the FINE WORK!

VERY NICELY DONE! The turquoise & yellow seems to be the in colors for the followers of the Big T. That aside, the brushwork is OUTSTANDING.

The latest Holy Babe is my favorite thus far...the three of them could explain why a singularly unappealing religion like Chaos worship could catch on. VERY WELL DONE!  

One of the promises of Tzeentch is immortality (the other two are knowledge and power), so is not so strange that many worship him (and eternal youth could be tempting for women too). I suppose it's the only chaos god with a "good" side, the master of change and evolution, in fact he is officially worship in Cathay. While khorne, Slaanesh and especially Nurgle are too extreme chaos gods to worship. Who want to worship Nurgle, for example? Only the desperate and crazy.

Here the Berserkers:

Both pieces are VERY COOL, although I rather favor the Bird Babe over the Ibis Guy...she looks happy in her work. Once more your flesh tones & metalwork are OUTSTANDING. VERY WELL DONE!

I love Group Portraits & this is no exception. The War Band looks WONDERFUL all together. VERY WELL DONE!

I really like how the whole theme came together. It definitely makes for a striking warband on the field.
