Started a Norse Warband, and noting that the Norse Shaman is available for Lustria, would he be allowed to roam the streets of Mordheim?

The Norse Shaman makes just as much sense in Mordheim as the Norse (read: little) so if you already play Norse, why not also use the Shaman HS?

Yes, he would. You could imagine these Norse are actually from the Northern WasteLands sent down by a Chaos Lord to retrieve Wyrdstone so he can be the next great Chaos Leader.

I believe the Norse leader starts with 2 wounds in Lustria and is the same cost as a mercenary hero. I would take him down to one wound or pay 25 credits more for him.

2 wounds, where in the heck are you getting that from Da Bank?

It was the Norse werecreature which was published with 1 wound instead of 2 in error, not the Norse shaman.

Regards,

Stuart.

I noted NORSE LEADER not Shaman. The norse leader starts with 2 wounds.

It is 2 attacks instead of the normal 1.
1 Jarl
70 Gold Crowns to hire
The Jarl of a Norse Warband is the most battlehardened
veteran of his group and often a
lesser clan chieftain of his tribe. He has seen
many battles and is used to the bloodshed.
While some Jarls choose to command their
forces with strategy, most just run into the fray
with the rest of the warriors. However the Jarl
decides to run his Warband, all of the other
warriors respect him and look up to him.

It's really kind of at the discretion of the group, but personally I don't see why not. I don't think Norse seem all that out of place in Mordheim anyways. If you think of them as you would real-world vikings then they would be well-traveled and it doesn't seem too out there for a group to plunder a ruined city when basically every other race has gone there for the same reason.

I'm confused Andy, are we talking about the Shaman or the Jarl!?

The leader has 2 attacks for sure. Only 1 wound by my reckoning.

This was the quote that confused me. I mistook you for discussing the Shaman in my haste. Sorry for that. Neither character starts with 2 wounds in Lustria - Cities of Gold though sir.

Regards,

Stuart.

You must reflect back and that Pitfighter was talking about using a Norse warband in mordheim. I knew what I was talking about but I dont think you realized what I was trying to say. My above post fully explains to what my intent was.

Has anyone noticed the skill selection lists for the Norse in Army Builder? I see that the Jarl, Bondsmen and Wulfen have Strength on the list from Army Builder, but in the TC13, only the Berserkers have the Strength Skill selection.

What gives?

Dear PitFighterTrainer

You can safely ignore everything previously published and just refer to the Norse Explorers warband list and Norse Shaman hired sword as published in the Border Town Burning supplement download.

Download a copy here: www.bordertownburning.de.vu

This unofficial release is an updated version of the original version of the Norse warband rules. It is not a re-write. Rather than that it comprehensively incorporates all of the ratified corrections from previous publications into the original rules set from the Lustria - Cities of Gold supplement. Please find it also includes a far more accurate description of Norse warriors in the Warhammer world for your reading pleasure.

Regards,

Werekin.

Thanks! That's what I was looking for. Helps when there are others with the info already on hand, as trying to find each errata is such a chore!
