Well, as you asked so nicely...

These were taken by Alan Chapman who we met on the day. At the end there's some pics of a tavern brawl which was very silly and great fun! Chairs and bottles were flying everywhere and more than one pirate got thrown out of a window...

That's some serious eye candy! I see lots of Foundry and Black Scorpion goodness there.

Great job on the ship (I read your post about it on your blog).

I hear ya on that one. Great photos! Ive read all these posts and its given great inspiration to get my Pirate Warband up and running as well!

Thank you very much, Al! I do try to keep it clean and sorted, yet try to include as many links and references as possible. I always wanted the blog to have all the tabletop links that I have normally bookmarked in my browser and I like to write down clearly what I have found (like pirate and ship manufacturers) or what colours I have used for painting certain things and pack that into a tutorial or reference. This is not only useful for other gamers (hopefully) but this all helps me keep my browser, head and harddrive clean. When I am looking for something that I can't remember I want to be able to find it on my blog. That's the engine behind it and I guess it may work for others too.

How about some super awesome pirates scenery. Enjoy

UBERCOOL! That IS an incredibly imaginative, beautifully executed piece of pure artistry. The sheer amount of detailing demanded a prolonged viewing AND a return trip. I LOVED the three barreled cannon on the turntable, the banks of cannon ports on the tower, the winding stairs, the bridges, EVERYTHING about it! The way the building intergated seamlessly with the rock formations was amazingly well done. SHEER INSPIRATION! Thanks for the post, cianty.

The ONLY caveat I see is that you can't use this mind blowing diorama as actual gaming scenery... or can you?

Yeah, that's true. It's a dirama, not a piece of tabletop scenery.

Sorry for the lack of comments/praise, but the link thingys to the Pirates don't seem to be working...at least on the Ancient PC from HELL!

Just checked and they work for me...

"Cheer up,"they said."Things could be worse." So I cheered up, AND, sure enough, things got worse...Well that WAS horrible; NOT ONLY didn't I get to see ALL the new shiny toys, but JUST trying to open the site locked up my PC to the point I had to reboot. I'm going to have a LONG talk with the PC...AGAIN.

I enjoy going to your site almost everyday. Unfortunatly my life has become crazier by the day. Being in the Army, preping for deployments, people wanting you to do sooo much in one day, takes alot of time away from things you love to do. Least I love the work!
I got some piraty figures on order and hopefully get them in soon and was wanting to create my own blog of my Dwarfs and pirates. You set the standard that only us mere mortals could even hope to follow.

@Drug: Thank you! Which pirates did you order? I really love the Black Scorpion sculpts and don't think there is anything better available for either Pirates or Cowboys. The Foundry stuff is alright though
