| Well my friend with the sizable High elf Army has joined the campaign! He has rolled up a Shadow Warrior Warband: Heroes: Shadow Master: Elf Bow, Dagger x2 Shadow Walker: Elf Bow, Dagger x2 Shadow Walker: Elf Bow, Dagger x2 Shadow Walker: Elf Bow, Dagger x2 Shadow Weaver: Elf Bow, Dagger x2 Cloak of Darkness 7+ Henchmen: Shadow Warrior: Longbow Dageerx2 We had a Game this arvo so i could show him how to play. Game 10: Wyrdstone hunt. Lothern Sea Elves vs Shadow WarriorsElves vs Elves (I was seriously outgunned!!) We ended up with 5 shards around a very terrain heavy board (We forgot to take a photo which was a real shame as the board was awesome!). The Spartans grabbed 3 shards rather quickly and the Shadow warriors 1 shard. The shadow warriors shooting was rather ineffectual due to range and movement and cover penalties. ( i can see the shooting from this side becoming pretty brutal with a few skills) Artemis and Alkaeus charged his leader but failed to wound. Two Shadow Walkers tried to Diving charge but 1 failed the initiative test. Artemis was stunned! (Damn that high initiative lol) In my turn Artemis and Alkeus (2 crits! 4 wounds!) were taken OOA. Other Highlights: His mage was invisible most of the game but took a late game Diving Charge at Daxos only to fail to wound and was skewered onto the end of the spartans spear (OOA) Daxos then charged his leader but failed to wound and was taken OOA in return My mage failed to cast all game A lucky shot from one of the Shadow Walkers OOA Theophon Sparta routs... WINNER: Shadow Warriors! Post Game: Sparta:Daxos and Alkeaus (Both Henchmen) Dead! Artemis: Sold to the Pits! Beats the pit fighter! +50gc and +2 xp WHOOT!! New Skill Theophon: Full Recovery Dienekes: +1 Wound Used money to buy back henchmen and successfully found a familiar for the mage Shadow WarriorsShadow Weaver: Full recovery Buys 3 rabbits feet He really enjoyed the game so hopefully you will be hearing more from the shadow warriors! | |

| Well we got another game in today and we remembered the Camera! please excuse the christmas table cloth as i forgot the battle Mat.... Game 11: Scenario 4: Tainted Copse... Dark Elf Corsairs vs Merchant Caravan My friend didnt like the sameness of the characters in the shadow warrior warband so rerolled Dark elves. I took the Merchants for a run taking a lot of advice from this thread: https://boringmordheimforum.forumieren.com/t6296-the-merchant-s-guide-to-profiting-in-the-city-of-mordheimstoring a warhorse in the wagon to sell. In this game the 4 woods were magical and swapped places with each other, moved or spun 180 degrees every turn. the dark elves really used this to their advantage to propel themselves up the battlefield. I sacrificed 2 marksmen and a road warden to the evil dark elves to vouluntarily rout. i got full heros to explore with and he got the win all good all round. Post game: one Marksmen dead Road Warden blind in one eye -> didnt pay upkeep so left Thief steals a wagon Merchant sells warhorse for 40gc profit. using various haggles, Pawnbrokers and rare rolls: 4x hammer 3x rabbits foot 2x crossbow brace of dueling pistols (possible fake) (stored in wagon) hired a new road warden and replaced Marksmen | |

| COOL PHOTOS! The table looks busier than before. The woods are a nice touch both model wise & with their mobility rule. The Evil Pointy Eared Ones do seem to be more interesting than their Tree Hugging Cousins. | |

Sorry Vagabond we got so caught up in the game And teaching a new player the rules that we forgot to take pictures. However our dark elf player did take a photo of the set up. I promise there will be action shots next time! Game 12 Treasure GrabPlayersMerchant Caravan “Jaeger and Sons”Merchant: Dagger, Hammer Apprentice: Dagger Knights Vanguard: Dagger, Hammer, Rabbits Foot Knights Vanguard: Dagger, Hammer, Rabbits Foot Wizard: Dagger, Hammer, Rabbits Foot, Flight of Zimmeran 7+ Henchmen: 2x Marksman: dagger x2, Crossbow Hired swords: (all have their starting equipment) Cathayan Merchant Arabian Merchant Beggar Thief Road Warden Beastmen ( not quite sure of the equipment)Heros: Cheiftan: (Toughness 5!) Shaman: lure of chaos 9+ Bestigor: Sword, Dagger, Helmet Henchmen 5x Warhounds Minotaur: Mace, helmet, heavy armor, shield Darkelves “Lily’s Thorns”Heros: Highborn: Repeater Crossbow, Dark steel Dagger x2, Sea Dragon Claok Beast master: Whip, Sword Fellblade: Halberd Fellblade: 2x swords Scorceress: Doom bolt 9+, Death Spasm 10+ Henchmen: 2x Cold one Hired Swords: Beggar Marauders of ChaosHeros: Chieftain: Dagger, Mace, Helmet Seer: Dagger, Mace, 2x Champion: Dagger, Mace, Condemned Henchmen: 5x Warhound 3x Marauder: Dagger x2 Game Itself:The Beastman and Marauder players both used their warhounds to de-louse the booby traps on the chests…. I believe by the end of the game 4 had been taken OOA due to booby traps. lol The minotaur held his own against a cold one, the 2 fellblades and the beast master for several turns till finally a critical hit from the cold one took it OOA. (This minotaur just couldn’t hit! Or a ‘1’ would be rolled for wounding…poor bugger ) The beastman player was the first to rout taking with him 2 chests. The marauder player scored 2 chests as well as a chaos steed that he caught and broke in due to “perilous phenomena”. Through the use of moving and hiding he almost got to within striking distance of my Trade wagon! Only an unlucky rout test saw him run away. PHEW!! The tricksy darkelves were next to rout, doing so voluntarily and taking 4! Chests with them but not b4 a hero was blown OOA due to a booby trap… That left the Merchants as the winner (*stunned silence*) I pocketed 2 chests (1 was still on the table at the end , my flying mage “Nazario” scored me 1 early). Post Game: (what I can remember off the top of my head) Beastmen1 warhound dead (bought back with gold) Shaman: +1T New Bestigor purchased Marauders:Marauder dead (bought back with gold) Beggar hired Champion: broken Leg -1M Champions got helmets Chieftain got a shield Dark Elves: (+1 xp for low rating) Cold one dead (re bought) Sorcerer: +1A He got some other skill ups but can’t remember what He may also have bought other guys but it was 11pm by the time we finished and he decided he’d do his hiring and common items later. Thanks for all the reports and the photos of your tables.
The Beasts have 7 campaign points already? | |

| @ DeafNala: I'm trying to be good(ish) lol. In the scenario today i wont torture the inhabitants... ill leave that for the rest.
@Vonkurst: The campaign points are from kicking the Sea elves around. Currently the beastman chieftain 'Hates" the Marauder Chieftain.
As for no Voluntary Routing, I suggested this scenario as with enough Info we unlock "The lost Caravans" which if we save the merchant, has a 1 in 3 chance of revealing the location of a chaos artifact. So hopefully by next week we should have an artifact in play.
As for the Caravan, no routing will be horrendous! I only have 4 out of 14 models that i can lose without affecting my Exploration and trade phases. Also the current sell value of the wagon and items is 211gc!
I have a feeling that since i won the last multiplayer they will all turn on me till i rout. (hopefully with my wagon still lol) My plan for the caravan will be just to take it slow, move as a group and fill anything that comes into veiw with crossbow bolts!

| Well here is the Battle report from last Sunday. (sorry about the lateness but i only received some of the photos last night) Set up: darkelves bottom, Marauders left, Beastman right and Mechants safly tucked up behind the river to the top The game happened pretty much as i predicted. The Dark elves and Marauders had a secret pact to steal my wagon before the battle but had neglected to mention this to the beastman player. The beastman rapidly began expanding to gather info and this slowed the darkelves meaning the marauders were going it alone across a river and a storm of crossbow bolts. Here we have the beatsman's wall of warhounds: THat eventually hit the dark elf lines and took out their beastmaster: As the Marauder player was on his own he turned round and started heading back towards the dark elves. THe dark elf player promptly "Doombolted" his hounds effectivly ending the alliance. More to come so stay tuned! | |

| Thanks Deafnala! we are busy making/purchasing/painting terrain and models at the moment. Back to the report: The loss of the warhounds saw the beastman player promptly fail his first rout test before the Minotaur could wreck face (something he was quite disappointed about) but im pretty sure from memory he only suffered a death of a warhound that he replaced. The marauders warhounds hit the Dark elf fellblade (2 sword guy) but due to parry, fey quickness and step aside he still stands: But not after the majority of the warband get there: Which are promptly "Doom Bolted"(That spell is AWESOME!): the elven leadership was not his friend. I believe he had maybe 3 models left when he finally routed. 2 coldones and a henchmen died! While this was all happening my wagon was slowly moving to the center and parked at the end of a narrow street. I fed the marauder mincing machine 2 warriors a turn so i could crossbow him.. in the end he failed 1st ( no pix sorry as the darkelf player was the photographer and he was off doing his post game rolls) Here is a pic of my set up: As you can see i am still proxying a lot. however a model for my Merchant, apprentice and roadwarden arrived in the post yesterday. Expensive game for my caravan with 4 heros OOA! i just made the upkeep on my hired swords by 5g! | |

| I really have been slack this week... We have had 3 new people join in the campaign! Orc and Gobbos (being proxied by 40k Orcs) Clan Pestilens skaven (proxied by tyranids lol) Ogre Maneaters (proxied by Dnd mini monsters) To introduce them we played "the lost Caravans scenario" multiplayer. I chose to do this for the following reasons: 1. We are all chaotic or neutral so all could ally so noone would be rofl stompped 2. it meant 6 chances to find chaos artifacts for the following game Here is the board set up: THe combined warband total of all 6 players saw 16! ogres and and caravan guards placed on the board. Heres a good shot to show deployment: Merchants bottom right Skaven top right Orgres Top middle Orc n Gobbo Bottom middle Dark elves Bottom left Marauders top left More to come! | |

| The game was a blast here are a few action shots: Here is the ogres first turn. The ogres( 40k ogryns and dnd giants) took out all but 6 guards (high elves)... things were looking grim for the merchant in the wagon Heres the view from my Gun... i mean trade wagon... i had left a marksmen at home by accident so its being proxied by a skellie Here we can see the marauders and Dark elves advancing. THe skaven (tyranids) had no ranged wepons and only a single giant rat made it into combat the whole game due to fear lol More to come! | |

| Caimpagn Notes: In the above picture you can see a lone painted gobbo with a rifle... this gobbo siglehandedly took out 2 ogres by himself... he is now known as the "Ogre Slayer" and now causes terror in all NPC ogres. The merchant was saved thanks mostly to the orcs and the Maneaters. THe dragons hoard was discovered and the next perilous phenomena will be "Balandesh Comes" Ogres found a second cathayan long sword so his leader is a powerhous now! Tommorrow there is a 7 player Dragons Hoard game scheduled which should be epic as there is 2 artifacts up for grabs tomorrow. (Merchants, Beast man, Marauders, Dark elves, Maneaters, Orc and Gobbo and Pestilens skaven) Merchants have hired a kislev ranger (to help with the dragon slaying) and a wood elf ranger (i need a 25+ on the exploration roll to pay all my hired swords now lol) In closing heres a shot at the end of the game.... the melee in the centre was nutz!!! | |

| I forgot to mention the Marauders exploration phase... they were attacked by another band of marauders! this resulted in the seer, 2 marauders, 2 hounds and his chaos steed dead! His leader was sold to the pits and lost the battle resulting in madness - FRENZY!!!! Im praying he doesnt get the broadsword of damnation He then looted so much stuff including 3 warhorses that he could buy everyone back and still made a profit! | |
