this next one is an oldie, but I think I will recycle this conversion and some new wolf beast conversions into the project (re-painted). Another angle on the blog.

Both the new pieces painted up VERY NICELY...good color choices. GOOD WORK!
Checking out your Blog was a good idea; i.e., in addition to getting better views of the new pieces, I got to see some of the things you have in the works. The Squig conversions in particular are TERRIFIC; I 'm really looking forward to seeing them painted up.

Yeah, I only really update the forums with stuff that is converted or painted and fits the theme of the thread (fantasy warbands), I occasionally post some sci-fi stuff and other stuff that just stays on the blog, I don't do enough sci-fi to warrent a whole thread to itself on a forum!

The squig conversions were pinched from GW itself when they did thier "creature feature" article, I actually already have 4 painted, those are the last three that I have only just put on the painting list lol.

I also rarely do or post Thingies of the SciFi type, although I do love the Orks. I draw a lot of inspiration from your work, SO I'll just have to spend more time browsing your Blog. Thanks again for some GREAT IDEAS!

A Small amount on progression on the terrortoise, and another lobster beast:

The Guys in Shells are coming along VERY NICELY; their solid, muscular builds must make the Adult Mutant Ninja Turtles...or not. I really like Lobster Boy; that is a FINE creation. GREAT WORK!

heh, it's definately not a lobster "boy" they are mounted on 50mm round bases (the terrortoise are on 30mm) lol.

The BIG Lobster Guys & their smaller Amigo painted up GREAT...the bases are EXCELLENT also. These are a couple of your best pieces. VERY WELL DONE!

Terrortoise update (more angles on the blog). This is the model i'm likely going to use as the leader, he needs more gear on him and a weapon (obviously) but he's pretty much there now.

I'm enjoying the development of your Cold Blood Fellows both with & without shells as much as your Gnomes...& that's saying something. GREAT WORK!

I'll go checkout the photos on your blog.

I really must finish something..... at some point. Rear angle, link to the guy who came up with these conversioins and parts list on my blog.

I haven't yet figured out what weapon combos to put on them, hence the lack of arms, the choice is dependent on wether they will make up thier own warband or be a part of another warband (e.g. if they are core troops or will make up a warband's specialists, or something) I still need to figure that all out.

The new Beasties look cool/have potential. GOOD WORK!
One little thing that irked moi. Is the helmet hinged or some such thing to allow removal over the horns?

The horns are in slots, not holes, the helmet maks a sort of M shape over them if that makes sense, hard to see without paint.

LOOKIN' GOOD! The color choices are GREAT. I really like the Spearman on the left & the Pistol Packing Guy. FINE WORK!

Finally finished all my Mud Devils , gets something else off the painting desk at least, not sure where they fit in anywhere but I liked the conversions too much not to copy them

GREAT WORK! The Mud Devils...love that name...are one of the nicer paint jobs you've come up with thus far; AND among the most creative of conversions. I drew inspiration from these Guys for some of my Mushroom Lads.

Gnobgoblns, though I still need to paint thier flesh I can't figure out how right now.

COOL STUFF one & all! I rather like the reddish brown skin tone on the Gnobgoblins; it just needs some further highlighting. GREAT WORK as usual!

I now have 22 of these little blighters , I have also ordered some of the minion warbeasts for the Blindwater contract (Privateer press gaame "Hordes"), so I will have a small army to use the fishmen with soon enough....
