| Little more work so far: Floorboards are done, HUGE list of things to do, but I need to get some more 1/16th balsa sheet, given I picked up 2 1/32 sheets instead of one of each... Sheesh: I'm also still debating whether or not to put a glazing bar down the middle of each window or not as well.. Opinions? | |

| LOOKIN' GOOD! That's coming along very nicely...the flooring is particularly well done. Keep up the GOOD WORK! I don't normally do the window bar with the exception of more intact structures. It seems silly to have an intact window when the walls are blasted out. The black holes of the window add the eerie feel of empty, skeletal eye sockets...insert Spooky music here. | |

I'd decided to put them in as individual floorboards/floorboards with rafters.. and about half way through I just looked at the pile of balse & went "What was I thinking! Why did I think this was a good idea!" and poddled off to have a quiet beer worth the effort overall though I think Aye, thats what is putting me off... I may put one or two in the more sheltered windows, either that or the odd shutter hanging off by the hinges.... Oh I do like making more work for myself....

| It's more of an addiction, actually. We know there are probably more important things to do in life (what am I saying here?!), but we still insist in painting and improving our terrain and miniatures. And collecting a few hundreds in the process! Joao | |

| I think "addiction" is a good way of putting it, although you rarely see someone lying in the gutter with a paint brush in their hand. | |

Joao Heresy! to be fair, it is a good way of putting it... Mind you, given I originally met my wife via a game of Dungeons & Dragons... I think that says a lot And building wise, I'm thinking I'll compromise with the glazing-bar's - I'm wanting something more in the windows, and I'm thinking an extra wooden bar down the middle, as I have in the last building I did. BUT, have most of them broken, so there are stumps at the top & bottom, kinda bending out.. Trust me.. It'll make sense and look... AWESOME Though knowing my luck it'll be as fiddly as all get-out to do

Wow! Now that's the way to go! Very cool indeed! There's nothing better than sharing your loved hobby with the one you love. (OK, now I'm getting cheesy). Joao

| The bars look pretty cool...as long as your at it, a couple of intact ones wouldn't look out of place. Keep up the GOOD WORK; the Beasty is coming along VERY WELL. | |

| First of, apologies for the slow-down in pics, its been a bit of a hectic few days, what with a 3 1/2 hour drive each way this weekend to meet my sister-in-laws new miniature (And he's Cute!) I should have some more building work done on Thursday so should hopefully get some more pics by then.. In the meantime, and I think in a bid to prove I've gone totally Batty - Last week I ordered a cheap clay gun, to have a go at using it, along with some Das polymer clay, to see if I could make some bricks for... well, initially, small rubble piles for barricades, inside building setc. However, on experimenting I don't see why I cant get a little more ambitious with them.... even if it would slow down the speed at which things get built..... It's a bit rough & ready at the moment as I've not lined anything up properly, or indeed, stuck anything together - more of a 'general feel' sort of thing. What do folks think? | |

I use the square nozzle, it's about 5mm x 5mm square & cut it down to about 10mm length bricks give or take. I got the idea when I was watching the 'behind the scenes' for 'Pingu's the Thing' (Which is also awesome by the way)

| Ha ha Good old Pingu! They look great and give you more freedom than plasticard for making realistic ruined wall sections. Another cracking craft idea to follow up your roof tile stamper. I must say I am looking forward to your next discovery | |

Another cracking craft idea to follow up your roof tile stamper. I must say I am looking forward to your next discovery That's easy - Pasta maker + Das = smooth, consistant(Ish) thickness sheets - Think I might be able to use it for town squares/cobbled areas (With texture stamp) and slabs for concrete roads for Epic & 40k at least.... Just need to get hold of one now

No problems, I got mine from Amazon - if you click on the link in the first mention of it, it should take you to the amazon.co.uk version & let you search on the US version. As for the Das, it's more-or-less straight out of the packet, I knead it a little to make it a bit more pliable, but that's not strictly neccessary. I would reccomend a couple of steel rulers or similar to straighten out the strips, though I have found, when cutting it down to 10mm lengths you usually have a little each end left over, and it doesn't seem to matter if its not 100% straight

| Latest work so far: External timbering's half done on two walls, planning to have the rest of the timbers finished over the weekend hopefully.... At least, after I've put together the result of the latest trip to Ikea (Woo! Drawers! ) And, a little work with the bricks I've been making are coming out with a well for the burgeoning town og Kleindorf... | |

| VERY NICE PROGRESS! The half timber work is coming along fine...it really adds to the building. I LOVE the well; it's a perfect little gem that should be a cool addition to the gaming board...gives you some practice using the bricks to boot. Keep up the SPLENDID WORK! | |
