| Greetings Fellow Travelers of the Old World! First of all, I would like to say "thank you" to all of you who took the time to view my posts and for all the kind words and encouragement. I wish I am able to share my progress hobby-wise as often as possible but unfortunately, real life gets the better of us. Reality notwithstanding, let me share some of my more recent works... Remember this? I was able to finally secure this OOP model and this is what I have done with it: The War Wagon of Talabheim! Inasmuch as I already have an existing Empire Army painted in the red and white color scheme of Talabheim, I decided to use the same colors along the walls of the wagon and because I wanted to be consistent in the riveted and armored look of the model, I decided to use the Khadorian Armored Horses of PP's Khador Gun Carriage. I think the marriage worked well in the end. What do you guys think? Another thing which I love about this model is its versatility. The war wagon can be used either in its original design as an Armored Troop Carrier and Battle Platform... or as a Command Post and Observation Platform. But of all its potential application, its use a War Altar is probably the best! I have even solved the problem regarding a crucial design flaw: the absence of a driver's post... It is not driven but is instead guided into battle and guarded by a couple of Sigmarite Templars! I think even Volkmar the Grim approves... What do you guys think? | |

| Technically not from warmachine they are from the RPG Iron Kingdom's range (from the same world as Warmachine). Just to be picky . Excellent paint work and good use of the kit to allow multiple options . You could evben use it as a merchants wagon in Mordheim (a particularily rich merchant...) What happened to the rest of the Khador Battle engine? | |

| VERY NICE WORK on both the Steam Tank & the Battle Wagon...the brushwork & basing are excellent. I must admit that I prefer the original crew to the Wagon, but different strokes & all that. | |

| Good to see the war wagon in so many configurations. I'd missed the organ gun mounted to the undercarrage of the tank. | |

| Lots of cool work! The war wagon is a wonderful piece, that will surely attract a lot of stares and enemy fire on the gaming board. The addition of Celeste is a good move - nice model well painted! Any plans for more females in the force? | |

| Thanks Spectre76!
I really love these models. Fluff-wise, I wanted to convey that these Feuerbach sisters, while identical twins are completely different from each other. Celeste is the more aggressive and dominant of the two and that is why she has risen through the ranks and is now a Captain. Gertrude, on the other hand is more gentle and more defensive in her battle plans.
I even plan to make some conversions in the future and make Gertrude a Standard Bearer so that she becomes the inspiration of the army.
Even as we speak, I am already working on some fluff for these twins... | |

| Cool! The militia unit looks great, and the inclusion of the ladies works well! Reaper does produce lots of great female minis, so I'm looking forward to seeing more! Thw twin sisters is a fun idea, and well executed. I think you've managed to purvey your fluff in the painting and posing of the minis. Keep up the good work! | |

| Greetings Fellow Travelers of the Old World! Let me share with you a hand-gunner unit/detachment which I have just recently completed: The unit is led by an old pistolier model who, because of the size of his mount as compared to the more recent ones, had to be detailed to infantry duty. P.S. Thank you DeafNala and folketsfiende for the kind comments. | |

| I.C. 2522 Portents of doom and great glory abound as never before prompting several zealots within the Church of Sigmar and radicals amongst the Colleges of Magic to whisper that the end is near. Thunderheads of unnatural size, shape and color has been observed massing on the horizons of many lands. Talabheim is no exemption. Located on the opposite side of the Taalbaston sits an ancient and dense forest known as Taalgrunhaar or more popularly called by the sparse inhabitants who have made this dense copse of oak, maple and birch trees as their home as Taalwelt. On account of persistent reports of mysterious disappearances from its inhabitants, who are composed mainly of foresters, farmers and merchants, Countess Elise Kreiglits-Untern, in coordination with the Hunter's Council, has dispatched several units of the Taalbaston Guards and the City Watch to investigate the same and to restore some order in the already-hysteric community. Led by the legendary twins, Celeste and Gertrude Feuerbach, these brave men of the Empire soon discovered a peril that threatens to destroy Talabheim from within... As soon as they arrived at the village of Wolfstadt within the Taalgrunhaar Forest, the Taalbaston Guards received reports that a large herd of Beastmen were seen near one of the tributaries of the River Taal and were advancing towards their location en masse...Faced with a horde of beastmen, most people scampered for the safety of the village...while others simply froze in fear...With little time to prepare, Celeste Feuerbach ordered her spearmen to brace themselves and prepare for the worst...Gertrude riding on her Griffon, Justice tried to support the spearmen who acted as the first defensive speedbump but soon found himself surrounded as well...In no time at all, the main unit found themselves cornered...One of the scouts reported that a Beast(Sha)man was seen "summoning" something...and a massive creature of chaos appeared from the forest...and attacked the unit with all of its ferocious might!Much to the delight and approval of Khazrack the One Eye.What is going to happen next? :-D | |
