| Greetings Fellow Travelers of the Old World! I love to work on various miniatures and model projects. Unfortunately, a lot of these projects do not necessarily fall within any categories so I decided to create a new Topic wherein I could post my " other works". I hope that the members of the TBMF coomunity would approve. For my first post, I would like to share a project that I have been working on for some time in collaboration with some dwarf engineers, who are seen here in this photograph guarding our "top secret weapon but first, a background... Background: As some of the community may know, I own several Warhammer Armies and the Dwarves happen to be one of my favorites. I do however have an issue with GW''s dwarves. You see, for all of their admirable traits and qualities, not to mention their supposed technological prowess, I find it very amusing that the Dwarves, who, lore wise, were the ones who taught men about gunpowder technology and metallurgy DO NOT HAVE A TANK OF THEIR OWN! I therefore set out to look for and/or make a suitable tank for my Dwarf Army which would be its centerpiece and a source of pride for the Dawi. I finally found the perfect piece for my Dwarf Tank project and it is this project which I would like to share with the TBMF Community. Behold, the mighty " KAZADOR'S REVENGE!" This tank is a massive metal construct that still retains its " fantasy" flavor. It was originally the Privateer Press' Khadorian Gun Carriage which I appropriated for my Karak Azulian Dwarf Army. I simply removed the horses, trimmed the chassis and modified the front portion with some plasitcard and Dwarf Bits. I also mounted an Organ Gun for the extra firepower and I then painted the same in blue to further tie it in with my Karak Azul army. To further enhance the look of the model, I used a Battle for Skull Pass handgunner champion and I also placed a Banner to further make the model look more Warhammer -ishI also painted the turret with a "wood grain" look in order to retain its " Old World" appearance. I hope you guys like it! | |

| Awesome! Reminds me somewhat of the old Squat war vehicles in Epic - and that's a good thing in my book! | |

| Wow! Compliments to you and your engeneers but...maybe mine found a fault: How does the tank passes though the main door of the wall? Isn't it too high? Well...after joking...really a nice piece...now you hit my dwarven engeneers right on their pride...i'll have totryto do better...someday... | |

| I'm loving this beast. Bristling with firepower and right in character with the little hairy fellas. But surely they wouldn't have only one Also I'm still taken with the way you paint the bases on your minis. Top notch. | |

| Thank you gentlemen for all of your wonderful and inspiring comments! It is truly humbling to receive such compliments from individuals whom I consider as creative peers. This project was truly a work of love and I invested quite a considerable amount of time working on the same. Consequently, I am quite pleased with how this project came out and therefore it is truly gratifying to hear that this particular project is appreciated. Incidentally, I also added a new crew to my Dwarf Tank (well, he's not really a crew member but he has decided to hitch a ride nonetheless... to get to the battle faster I guess) and I would like to share him with you! I hope you guys like him! | |

| Wow, very cool creation! That latest detail, dwarf hanging from side of the tank, seems like the final touch to this piece. Only thing I see as a bit too futuristic are those red scopes above sideguns. But otherwise you've done a great job and can be proud of your engineer skills! | |

| Greetings Fellow Travelers of the Old World! A friend of mine, upon seeing my dwarf tank project, inquired as to how the tank runs? Does it run on steam? Is it pulled like a carriage? Or is it run by several tiny dwarf legs ala pedal-powered? In order to remove any doubts as to how this behemoth of a dwarf construct is powered (and considering the ridiculous mental image of several sweaty bearded and grumpy old little men doing pedal work), I decided to add just one more detail on my tank... The exhaust pipes were made from plastic tubing and some dwarf bits (which goes to show you that you should never throw away excess bits). I hope you guys like it. | |

| Greetings Fellow Travelers of the Old World! Last weekend and during the storm break, I decided to work on another dwarf project to compliment my recently concluded dwarf tank. This is Karak Azul's Gyro-copter... The model was a pain to build on account of the fragility of the parts and the poor assembly design but nonetheless, the finished product more than made up for these flaws. I hope you like it! P.S. I took some creative license in mounting a different pilot whose pistol obviously interferes the copter's rotor blades. I know that its impractical but its pretty nonetheless. | |

| Your efforts certainly paid off! Great work on the war machines. I like the things you've done with both models to make them unique. | |

| I like how you finished the tank! Very dwarfy! About the helicopterist...he is doing a dwarfy version (done only by younger engeneers) of an old tavern game. In this version they use a pistol instead of knife and the helicopter's rotor blades instead of fingers of their own hand. You don't know what i'm speaking of? It means you're too young. | |

| Greetings Fellow Travelers of the Old World!
Thank you very much for taking the time to view my posts and making comments thereto!
@ Von Kurst: I appreciate the compliments. I think that every miniature deserves to be treated as an individual rather than as a generic whole and every miniature enthusiast owes it to the miniature to make it unique instead of being a nameless model.
@ floedebolle: Thank you for the kind words. The base was taken from the Scibor line.
@ drakkol: "hehe... good times my friend... good times!" | |

| Greetings Fellow Travelers of the Old World! @ DeafNala: As always, the kind words of the venerable Honor Guard are deeply appreciated! @ drakkol: I did not like the sculpt of the original pilot that came with the gyro-copter because it lacked character and if you read the fluff behind the gyro-copter, the pilots that drive these steam-powered contraption are anything but dull. In fact, they are described as downright mad! | |

| VERY NICELY DONE! The Big Nasties look particularly BIG & NASTY. The standards are especially cool...the Dwarven decorations are a nice touch. While I don't buy into G.W's rusty weapons fluff, you did a FINE job with the rust effect. | |
