I love the work you've done on the pirates Your paintjob and conversionwork give the models a comical feel. Do you use a lot of washes, or do you shade and/or highlight?

Thanks for all the kind words, Guys. They are both motivating & appreciated.
@BigD: My stuff tend more toward a caricature like, somewhat surrealistic approach rather than realistic...& I like bright colors. I do washes with watered down acrylics, inks, & occasionally water colors; I blend, dry brush, highlight...in short, anything that works.

The Rat Hunters will be the next of my War Bands. This Reaper mini (03080 Anwyn, Female Bard) is the first of the Crew. As always, my ASTOUNDINGLY MEDIOCRE photos give only a vague idea what the Girl looks like, but whatever. Here she is:

Oh yes I know exactly what you mean :-D I got the same my woc army is almost done and I keep making other units and heroes :-D the ideas just keep coming!

I had occasion today to go searching for this photo that my friend, Eliasar, took for me of a converted Goblin for a semi-competitive, no prize thread: "You In Mordheim". The thread never caught on, but the photo was & is cool. SO without further explanation, here I am in or around Mordheim:



...the resemblance, especially the nose, is uncanny.
