| VERY COOL! The 40K Inquisitor looks TERRIFIC as a Fantasy Guy...perhaps a tad on the too-heavily armored side, but what the heck. I LOVE the eagle/condor. VERY NICE WORK! | |

| First of, I kind of made a mistake: the color I use "pretty much everywhere" is NOT Graveyard Earth, but Kommando Khaki. Helps to look on the pots you use every now and then...will edit this in the other post. Second, I didn't finish the Inq - at all. It is in this state currently: But I am confident I will get some stuff done tomorrow, since it is a very long weekend for me. What I did do instead was finish some other models. Here are two I already showed as WIP, Captain "Faceman" Felix and my Priest 2.0. The mini on the left is my wip-witch which will not go with the witchhunters, obviously. But there are other minis waiting, here an old pic: I might make some photos of the Inq if I get reasonably far tomorrow. That way I can also replace some of the photos in this post. The sun was already way down when the camera's batteries were ready recharging...

| Very cool project! Thanks for keeping us updated. One of the best things about it is the conversions you're doing and the healthy combination of Fantasy and 40k which comes very naturally in here!

| Thanks everyone! The eagle/condor/"turkey" is actually supposed to be a vulture... The neck actually bends in a way you cannot see in the pic. I am positive it is going to look better in the finished version, though I got to admit that I'm not overly happy with how it turned out so far. | |

| I wish I could post a finished miniature but this is how Corteaz looks so far after three painting-sessions of which the third was used on th sword entirely. While I like how the sword turned out, I by now figured out that I mostlikely got the lights and shades completely wrong. So it is bright where it should be dark and the other way around... Got a game on saturday, hope to have him finished by then. How do you like him so far? | |

Funny thing is, it is just the shadows. All I did was painting Kommando Khaki over a grey basecoat there. So after two weeks away from the hobby table I was able to sqeeze two more sessions in, 1,5 of which went into painting the eyes and then just giving up on them. Here is the finished Inquisitor. I know some spots are not perfect but I was kind of fed up with it and am really looking forward to a special piece that I will start in two weeks (no painting for me next week ) | |

| So I did paint some dogs for my warband, but they were a rush job and really turned out terrible, so I don't feel like showing them off. Instead, I show you some Minis I've been working on which will see some paint in the near future - Reikländer. Since they are supposed to fit with a sometime-to-be Inquisition-themed army, I did some small conversions here and there, also to make them look more dangerous in some cases. Sorry for the light, but they aren't painted yet anyway, so that shouldn't be a problem: Heroes Henchmen, the bowstrings really were a pain... There is also a Reaper-Warlock which didn't make it into the pics yet and a WIP-lad. | |

| Inquisitor Torquemada seems to me too much macho for Mordheim, but I really like your Reiklanders conversions. Great job! | |

| The way you did the bows is terrific! But the thing that strikes me the most is the way all the characters are unique. Their weapons, props and poses are simply spot on!

| Thanks guys for all these nice (and quick) comments. Really wants me to start painting them right now. Alas, I hope to at least find time to basecoat them this week | |

| Nice--those Reiklanders have loads of personality--good stories each, I'm sure. And that bowstring work is crazy cool. | |

| Ups, after consulting several Youtube-Videos (and the archer in the middle, where the arrow is at the right side), I might consider I was not totally right with this one arrow. So instead of Indian I must have played being an kyudokas in my childhood Pics with the fixed arrow will follow shortly... @ Captain Bernhardt: The Siggi? He is pretty much just this Astropath here: http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat440247a&prodId=prod2010020Great model, huh? | |
