| The Westwind gobbo could be a nice alternative savage orc...
Ms Grig has some attitude. The Spooky trees look a little dubious about messing with her and her stone knife.

| Thanks, Spectre...glad you like them! The Faerie was a challenge (pain) to photograph; dark shadow that aren't there in reality kept circling her eyes giving her a Zombie look. Both were a pleasure to paint. | |

| Lovely new additions! Very much recognisable as your creations, excellent! I
As an afterthought, I wouldn't dwell on the quality of your photography, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that!

| Thanks for the kind comments, V.K. & Boreas! That's my dose of motivation for the day! - Von Kurst wrote:

The Goblins from West Wind would look GREAT as surrogate Orcs...they're much less expensive to boot. The Crazed One is from the command blister. The Captain on Lulu is the comander in the pack: - Von Kurst wrote:

Her attitude & appearance were what made me think of Pat Benatar. - Boreas_NL wrote:

I'm delighted you like it. Once I got by the Zombie look to Pat's eyes, I was fairly happy with the results...fairly.

| Love the chaotic nature of goblins and yours definitely capture this mood.
Love the last picture by the way. Can you get some more shots of that wooden structure?

| Thanks for the kind comments, Joao. I'm delighted you like the stuff. The Goblins were part of a Night Goblin Army. What you see in the photo is part of the howdah on the back of Lulu the Land Waster...she's a converted toy rhino. Actually she's one of two that I got from Capt. John way back when...my dog converted the other one. Be that as it may, you'll find more photos here: https://boringmordheimforum.forumieren.com/t4272-the-tale-of-lulu-the-land-wasterThanks, drakkol! AND a HAPPY BIRTHDAY...Monday! | |

| A worthy alternative to the Giant Spider for the Forest Goblins! I also loved the inscription, "In Fungo Veritas". | |

| My recent splurge on Insulation Foam Squares has created a Motivated Monster. One of the ideas is finally mounting up the Isles of Langerhans on a single board with an eventual extension for the Smugglers' Ships. This is the present arrangement of the Isles: There will be connecting walkways at various levels, shiny water spots, marsh grass, & the occasional tentacle. As always comments are most welcome...for the most part. | |

| Thanks , Guys. I'm glad you are both enjoying The Project, & took the time to say so. @folketsfiende: there is a decided possibility that "way of life" is more applicable then "project". At least it's proving to be a fun "way of life. - Von Kurst wrote:

Would you like some swimming alligators? I got a few extra...(they all look alike, but ) ...me too. The walkways et al will be practice for The Goblin City. If they work out, this could be the start of something big...now that song will be playing through my head for the rest of the day. Today I'll start distressing & painting the balsa & bass wood for the walkways & docks...gluing down the smaller islands is in the cards too.

| As I was plodding oh-so-slowly along with the Swamp Board, a strange Beasty emerged from my psyche...he was subsisting on a diet of dust bunnies. SO to keep the thread from disappearing all together, allow me to present the latest of my creatures, Loathsome George the Gooky Monster: George will be haunting the toxic waters off Crazy Mary's Cay: As always your kind commentaries would be appreciated...offer to desist will be considered. | |

| Monsters named George are the best. I'm pretty rusty on my swimming, but I think that's the back stroke, although with George that is hard to tell... | |

| Thanks, V.K.! Old Lonesome George is name after George Gobel...I'm sure he'd be delighted to know that. It looks like the back stroke to moi also, although considering the density of the "water", it would probably be like a swim through Jello. I think I'll move the separate tentacle (the center one) to the rear of George; it gives him a more stationary & threatening look...merely the thought of being touched by him is probably threatening enough. | |
